Excellent experience with 5 Star Solar. After several neighbors in my community recommended 5 Star, I called them to come out and give me an estimate, along with 5 other companies. Ron, their sales rep was outstanding and gave me the best estimate out of all the companies. I went with 5 Star and glad I did. The installation was fast and the crew did an excellent job. Very impressed with their work. I went with 14 solar panels and a battery. I highly recommend 5 Star Solar!

Everybody I dealt with at Five Star Solar we’re just super I only have one question in September and October. I created more kilowatts than I use. I still got a PG&E bill for $121. I would like to know why I was I was told I wouldn’t have a PG&E bill. Please explain to me why thank you.

My experience with Five Star Solar was great. They installed my solar system around May last year. From start to finish, the entire process has been nothing short of exceptional.

Five Star Solar installed my system in August and I could not be more pleased. The price was much better than my other bids. The panels and equipment used by Five Star is the best as well. I'd done lots of research regarding the best solar equipment for the Sacramento Valley and Fiver Star uses Panasonic panels, which are rated the best. Also, good design with individual micro inverters from the best supplier. And everything has a great 25 year warranty. Best of all, everyone I worked with was very professional. They all knew their jobs, and were very efficient in getting the system installed. I always got a response from their office to my questions. I was always kept informed of the status of the installation and the permitting. Bottom line. I'm very happy with my choice.

The Five Star team were really good professionals. They were very organized, clear in their messaging and solid project management throughout. I did a lot of research and interviewed several installers over a period of 12 months and really glad with Five Star's process, pricing and work quality when all the work was completed. Installation only took 5 hours. The price and quality and warranty beat both SunRun and SunPower. The panel placement was the smartest of all of the companies that I checked with. I highly recommend five star solar.

I wanted to purchase not lease the Solar system for my home. Five Star Solar was willing to sell the system plus help me with the paper work and permits where I had very little experience. Although I felt a little frustrated in the slowness of getting the permits. The Five Star Solar staff was able to obtain the permits. The installation, and inspections were completed with satisfaction. As of today we are all solar and making money.

I've had my solar system for about 2yrs now. Everything has been great. No issues at all. Install was quick and proffesional. No pipes/conduit showing on my roof. Tax credit went through with no issues. The enphase app is great. I have heard alot of bad experiences with some solar companies. One of my coworkers went through Costco for his solar system. His system was installed but didn't pass inspection for about 5 months. He was paying the finance bill plus his regular electricity bill. Costco wouldn't even help at that point. They just told him to get in touch with the solar company. He got the run around for a few months untill they finally went back to fix the wiring on the panels. Make sure you do your research before you get a solar system install so that you know what you are getting in to. My bill was getting very expensive since i live in pg&e area. Solar may not make sense for everyone but it certainly was a great investment for me. I run my ac whenever i need to without any worries. My thermostat was set to 78 before solar panels. Now i have it set to 74 with no issues. I installed an attic fan and changed out all my bulbs to LED. I actually think my panels help block out the heat going in to my attic so it stays cooler which helps my ac unit run smoothly. I bought more solar panels that what i needed so i get a credit at the end of year. Life is good. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone trying to go solar. I will replace my roof in the next few years so I'll come back and update when that gets done.

Working with Five Star Solar was fantastic. They were very helpful explaining the process and they kept us informed of next steps throughout the installation. After our installation was complete we experienced an electrical problem. I emailed the sales rep and within 30 minutes the owner called me. He arranged to have someone come out immediately to address the problem even though it was Sunday. I would highly recommend Five Star Solar to anyone.
