Flame Broiler, Santa Ana CA

I love Flame Broiler, and frequent the brand enough that i usually know how much my same order will be within a few pennies. I have been to this location three time now and could not seem to figure out what was different about it both times. I finally figured out that this is a corporate location, and acts as a training facility for new employees to the franchise. Its oddly located in a mixed use office/retail location which took me a minute to find the first time. There is also a flame broiler corporate office in the same center, so make sure your at the correct restaurant location. They literally weigh on a scale the amount of meat they give you each time. So of course the portion control is always the same, but I'm always longing for a little more. They are often training new employees, which has been fine. I'm just glad those people are getting jobs. But the scale really annoys me. I may frequent an independently owned franchise from now on.

I travel to Tustin frequently and stay at the Fairfield Inn. I was very surprised with the quality and taste of the food at the Flame Broiler. I typically get the large plate with Beef and Chicken, very tasty. The fruit they add is more of a garnish than anything but for the price, protein X 2, veggies, and salad. You won't be disappointed! Been here twice and will be back gain!

Would’ve been great if they honored their deal. The young man working has no idea what customer service is. Too many fast food options around to not take care of your clients

Tucked into a business park so hard to find. Otherwise, standard Flame Broiler- fast and simple.

I come here everyday for lunch. The chicken and beef is always fresh. They have seaweed and avocado it pairs nice with the meal. They have 3 types of hot sauce and magic sauce. All very good. If you need a clean lunch come here

The food here was very fresh and moist. Actually there chicken on this day was the best chicken I've ever had at flame broiler before. Exceptional

Felt very health concious eating here. Employees even weighed the bowl with a scale to make sure I don't eat too much.

Disappointed. Had Plate with angus beef. Low quality protein, chewy no way angus. Small portion and spent over $12 for dam lunch! Panda Express Angus beef is the real deal.

This is the worst flame broiler I have ever been to. They put my bowl on a scale. I paid way more for this tiny portion of food than when I go to any other Flame broiler for a much larger portion. NEVER coming back to this place. Total rip off!

This is the best Flame Broiler by far! They have an assembly line so you don't wait around for your food like at other locations. As soon as it's your turn you watch them build your bowl/plate right in front of you so you know it's exactly how you want it. The place is super clean and the staff is friendly and energetic. Also has an outdoor patio under shade. Yea I don't think it can get any better than this for fast food. Of course their food is delicious, as always.

The service is top notch at most Flame Broilers and I suppose the employees are not at fault but they are always out of white meat. Even at lunch.

The patio area is really nice, better than every other location. So it isn't the worst experience to wait 10 minutes while everyone else is eating.

Still, no excuse. I already pay extra for white meat, have it ready to go.

This is the third Flame Broiler I have been to, and I will admit it—it was weird to see them using a scale with the meat—but whatever, it does not take from the quality of their food. Same great and friendly staff, same delicious food! Just because they use a scale, does not mean they deserve a low star rating. If you are in the area, and are looking for a great lunch, for reasonable prices, I would highly recommend you check this place out!

Very stingy with the food. And if it weighs out to heavy they will take it out of your bowl.won't come back

Staff is great, but never have i been to a flame broiler where the food is actually weighed. I dont eat large portions, i just didnt expect my bowl to be placed on a scale.

There are a lot of flame broilers around and this one is my favorite because of the service and the way they cook it. Its always the same guys there who do a great job and the meet is never dry like on main and macaurthur

So glad they reopened! We had the seafood pancake and beef intestine stew today. SO good. Every single side dish is prepared with so much attention to detail. My super picky mom loves coming here and raves about the food. The place is pretty small and packed with tables but the waiter was super attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back! Over and over again.
