Flashbacks Recycled Fashion, Encinitas CA

Some girl inside just tried to tell me the size small suicidal tendencies 3/4 sleeve they have hanging on their wall was given to the guy who brought it in by Mike Muir (lead singer) off his back… at least Google what the guy looks like so you don’t look dumb when you lie to customers. And this isn’t the first time I’ve found dubious band merch in that store. I can’t remember what band it was, I think Metallica, they were trying to say it was from 1980 something but you could easily tell it was recently printed and just an old tag sewed on.

I actually really enjoy the layout of the place and the selection of clothes they have here, but the place is wildly overpriced even compared to some other Flashback locations I've been to.

Some things I enjoy about this location:
-They have a very curated trendy selection throughout the whole store
-There are a few items that are fair prices for a vintage store

Some of the problems I've faced at this location:
-Most of the items are overpriced, and sometimes the quality of the items they sell is very poor, especially for the shoes
-Some of the items and probably most of the graphic t-shirts are whole sale

If you are into Vintage stores and like checking out trendy clothes, this place is pretty cool. If you are more into thrifting just go check out thrifty threads across the street

I! Love! This! Place! I come visit encinitas a few times a year to see family and i always carve out time to go here.i always buy at least 4 things- i’m an avid vintage collector and the prices are more than fair sometimes a steal.i appreciate the SORTED vintage so much- sometimes i only want things from a certain era and this makes it crazy easy.the customer service is so good and everyone’s so kind.i’ve never sold here but i will always buy here

This store is so dirty that i can’t help but have an allergy attack every time i go in.not to mention rude staff and ridiculous prices.won’t be returning

Incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. I needed help putting a pirate costume together and they did not stop until the job was done.

Used to go to the Encinitas shop. The clothes were amazing and the staff was warm and friendly. Now the clothes are okay and the staff are cool and a bit indifferent. Not sure if it’s the manager but felt like the main employee cared more about her own looks, height, and “cool” image than being welcoming to the store’s customers.
