Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Palo Alto CA

Food was just okay. Meat cooked incorrectly, asked for medium rare and got medium. The meat quality tasted a little on the old side, marbling was none existing for my tomahawk. Mash potatoes were a little dry. Cream of spinach was watery, but the sauté mushrooms were delicious. Dessert was pretty good. We had the lava cake. Service was nice, provided suggestions which we took, and filled our drinks constantly.

Why 3 stars? The price. It had the food quality like Outback, with a Michelin star price. If it's atmosphere you're after, then this is a lovely spot, but really you're after the food in the end and the price doesn't justify it.

Incredible steak, amazing service. The tomahawk Tuesday deal is really worth it. The steak itself is the best I've had in years. Will absolutely come back for the Tuesday deal

My wife and I had a great night out. The food was outstanding. Steaks were done perfectly. The sides were very tasty and the Ahi tuna poke appetizer was great. Add some good drinks, a creamy creme brulee, a great server (ask for Kim) and you have the makings of a nice night out.

Waiter asked us: Isn’t this the best steak you ever had? It was good but not the best. Side dishes also OK but everything is very heavy and with a lot fat. Service was OK but not very warm. The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of individual character/charm and feels more like a chain. As a European I would say: Typical American

My family and I had an early dinner at 4pm and our waitress Molly did a great job welcoming us and taking care of us. We had a toddler and Molly was great and suggested great food options. We ended up getting the mac and cheese for our toddler and steak for us. Overall, great food and great service.

Excellent bone in ribeye (medium) and french fries (tho not on menu). Very attentive and timely service.

Steak is basted in butter and nicely charred. French fries are double cut and crispon outside and soft on inside.

Came in for my birthday the table was decorated with a cute birthday card.

The staff is amazing and sweet. Our server was great and was there to check in on us.

The food was made to perfection from the seafood tower too the dessert everything was perfect

I still dream about their gooey honey crumble chocolate butter cake.

The sea bass, calamari, and bruschetta were delightful as well!

Dustin worked around all constraints to ensure my daughter’s second birthday with the family went smooth. He adjusted children menu to invent a new starter: chicken skewers and made sure French fries were prepared safely to avoid cross contamination from allergens. The most amazing thing he did was he found the safe ice cream for us and combined it with their fruit platter to ensure birthday cake is safe for both kids. Kids are happy - so are parents. Thanks you Dustin and the crew.

John provided excellent service. We were celebrating my birthday and he made me feel special, like a welcomed guest of honor. He was attentive and gave great recommendations. He treated our whole party with kindness, humor and grace.

Thank you Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (Palo Alto) for one of the most enjoyable dinners ever. We had dinner on Thursday 10/27/22. This is our new “happy place” to be. From the ambiance that shinned through the door to the genuine employees that graced us throughout our entire visit to the food that was cooked to perfection and left us planning our next visit.

The hostess seated us promptly upon our arrival and our waitress, Michelle, was instantly at our table with suggestions for wine and food, as the hostess returned to her station. Our busboy Octavio was at our table seconds later with fresh hot bread, served with Pumpkin Butter and Champagne Cheese.

The expertise, precision and authenticity that the staff exhibited left us feeing pampered and excited for our dinner. Marissa the manager was the ribbon that tied the package up. She is so genuine and thoughtful, that we felt like we were at my mother-in-law’s during Christmas and believe me, not many people could top that.

The food was beyond belief. The Wedge was excellent, it had a nice twist with a balsamic reduction topping the salad. The Tomahawk was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly the way we requested. The Creamed Spinach was delicious. To top this wonderful dinner off, we had Carrot Cake with caramel drizzled over the top, and an outstanding Crème de Brulee ever, served with Crème de Chantilly. It's a fancy steak house with an appetizing menu that includes daily specials. Some of the food is good. We liked the lobster tails. Some steaks are better than others but considering the price I'm not sure it's worth it.

I don’t know what went wrong with that restaurant. I don’t recall I paid 70$ of a steak that could taste that bad! No seasoning, bad quality of meat. I literally can’t understand how you spoil a meat like that. High end restaurant with terrible food quality and taste.totally unacceptable. Don’t waste your money

Great place for big days (anniversaries, birthdays, etc). The food is really delicious and the portions are large.

I love the blue and black steak. And the salmon was the best I ever tasted. Whenever we come to the Stanford mall this is always the capstone of our visit.

Fleming’s is a great spot for cocktails and steak. Top-notch service. Always a pleasure to dine here.

Great service and food! Steaks were delicious and well cooked. Since it’s fall, they had a pumpkin cream cheese spread that was tasty. The Flemings potatoes were delicious, too. Check this place out for special occasions or just for celebrating another day of living.
