Floating Sushi Boat reviews
17It was my brother's favorite sushi bar. Last I was there was 1992.just as wonderful.miss you bro but got to remember the good times with good food.
The sushi was not the most amazing I’ve ever had (I could definitely name some I like more) but it wasn’t the worst either. The waitress was meh. I liked the boat conveyer belt:)
Bad quality sushi. I think the worst we’ve ever tried… the waitress was quite rude too as she forced to give not less than a 15% of tip… won’t come ever again
We went for dinner as we saw the site and liked the circling boats theme with the food. The food was good, the only problem I think were the prawns, otherwise, everything was great, abundant quantities. The atmosphere is Chinese but it is also a very classic restaurant. The service, the truth is that they are quite attentive, it is true that sometimes you hear the occasional shout among them, but otherwise the service is very good. And the other thing why I leave 4 stars and not 5, is because we spent without taxes and without the tips that they necessarily include 15% a total of $60 per person, it should be noted that we ate a lot, but including everything, the total was $70 per person. Honestly, it's pretty expensive for what it is.
Good food and good experience. We sat near the boat, it was our first time trying out something like this, and was fun.
Lack of warmth, decent food but above-average prices. Well located next to the gateway to Chinatown.
The food was good, nothing special though.
Anyway, the staff was the most horrendous staff i have ever got to experience in america and probably in the worlds, they were rude, no proper manners, lurking arround while eating, always speaking chinese among them very loudly. But what happened when we were supposed to pay is just shamefull, the waitress wasnt able to handle a simple payment, made us wait 30 minutes, when she was supposed to handle this problem she rather took care of other people, always shouted loudly in chinese to her colleague because she just didnt know what to do. Overall terrible experience and worst place in san francisco by far.
Horrible attitude by the staff, they basically threw our napkins and silverware on the table when we arrived. They were visibly irritated by our presence and hugged when we tried to decide what to order to drink. The food was okay, however the staff’s attitude shows they are basically a tourist trap.
Subpar service, rude waitress, dry and abrupt, and the food is a bit bland and/or cold. Expensive bill which adds to the disappointment. Too bad, there is good potential with the location in the neighborhood and the sushi river.
It's only gimicky for the floating boats. Sushi is not rolled up properly.
Typical trick white people restaurant. Don't waste your time. The boss lady even made it a point the price didn't include service fee. The service and food was laughable at best.
The lady in the front is so rude omg but it's good sushi and a nice chef. I've been a few times the cold service is what influences me to go elsewhere tbh
The food was great. We sat by the boats and just watching the boats go by is an experience. The sushi and everything that drives by is freshly and appetizingly prepared and also tastes very good. We recommend.
The food was meh but the service was very subpar. This lead to this review. After trying to flag down a server multiple Times and being ignored I left. The place was nearly empty and one server looked at me turned her head and kept going. Would you believe the server had the audacity to CIRCLE the tip. I am someone who tips 30% plus at all times and I do not need a reminder. I clearly wasn’t welcomed and I got the hint.
Decent sushi, bit overpriced for the taste.
Grabbing from the boat was fun and delightful
The sushi is served on little floating boats that are tied together and circle the bar. Fresh watermelon juice, miso soup, and steamed rice, were delicious too. Overall, Good food and service.
Ehh not bad, nothing special though. Food was quick, the floating sushi is different but flavor wise I've had better. Service is lacking, somewhat rude.
