Flor De Maiz, Santa Barbara CA

It was really exceptional. My favorite meal of our trip to Santa Barbara. The Decour is inventive and pretty. The wait staff were super kind and helpful and attentive. Every single dish we tried was crafted with care and love, and with massive amounts of flavor, and perfect seasoning. The cornbread dessert was a shocking and delicious surprise at the end. We were seated at a corner booth table outside, and even though it was cool outside the abundant heaters kept us very comfortable. I can’t wait to come back)

Very good food and great service! We mostly got appetizers but they did not disappoint. As well very good atmosphere and energy.

A very lively ambience. Service was very average - I dined by myself and didn’t feel like I was looked after at all by the staff. Food was good but I don’t think it was worth the price paid.

My wife and I sat at the bar while we enjoyed their delicious appetizers and drinks. The view from the bar is the best in my opinion. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. A bit pricey but well worth the experience.

Best place I’ve had in Santa Barbara. Great place for a celebration. Prices are a little high or be a regular spot, but the food and the drinks are so good you’ll feel like you got your money’s worth!

I had the Salsa Verde Enchiladas and they were delicious! The only negative was I asked for a table for two inside and after an hour wait the only table available was outside next to all the people coming and going. Not sure what happened there.

The ambiance, views, food and drinks were Amazing! It was my 1st time going there, I would totally come back, everyone go check it out! Ask for Adrian D, he’s very nice and his service is Great!

With a group of 20 scheduled a week ahead, but seated with only 18 chairs. Service was pretty slow with apparently just one server, indoors was very loud, then loud music was added on top. So loud that conversation at the table was limited to overhearing the person next to you yelling at the person across the table. Ordered the special Special to make it easy on the server (but I was the only one). Consisted of an appetizer, entree and dessert. Everyone else got their appetizers, then got their entrees before they noticed that I didn't have any food. So, then they started my service. Decent Ceviche app came out when everyone was done eating their entree. Cleared away, then a while later my Octopus entree came out. It was good for octopus. Finally got that plate taken away, and after a while the server came up and showed me the menu to remind me that I was supposed to get pan de elite. I confirmed that's what the menu said. Even later a very tasty dessert came out. Seemed more like a corny flan. Should have just cancelled my order when it was clear that they forgot about my order and just kept eating chips. Definitely wasn't worth the $40 non-discounted price plus mandatory 20% tip I spent for the described experience.

AMAZING. Healthy, fresh - so tasty. They make everything in house. Highly recommend. Treat yourself to the bread pudding.

I wanted to like this place so much, but the food did not match the gorgeous ambiance of the venue. They were so kind to accommodate a large group, but the food left something to be desired. I gave three stars because the cocktails are super delish and the bar was great. Would only recommend for a happy hour type of visit.

Great food and ambiance. Liked the tacos I ordered, would like to try the ceviche next time when it's not so cold out.
