Flora Grubb Gardens reviews
17Nice selects of potted plants here at Flora Grubb. Be coming back again. Maybe check what new succulents you got!
Flora Grubb is my favorite plant store in the whole city, great selection of indoor and outdoor plants in a big space to take your time to shop.
Beautiful garden center with unique, healthy plants. Really nice to take a walk through any time of day! Location is a bit random, but definitely makes it a hidden gem
A fine selection of uncommon and rare plants for indoor and outdoor bay area gardens. You're not going to find the same plants as at a big box retailer, but that's the point! Helpful and direct staff, colorful plants and pots.
Beautiful nursery with an amazing selection of cacti and succulents. The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to patiently answer any questions.
Please bring back the coffeeshop! That would make the experience even more perfect.
Great selecting of palms and succulents (and a whole lot more!) right in sf. There was a sugo palm that had to be 20 years old. And everyone was incredibly helpful and nice.
A great family outting! Super pet friendly and an amazing assortment of some hard to find plants! The decor is nice and the place is kept very neat & clean.
A must visit if you are looking for cool plants. You won't leave without buying something. Friendly staff. The have a coffee shop too! They are happy to order plants for you too.
Love, love, love Flora Grubb! If you’re looking for the widest selection of plants, beautiful pots, and even patio furniture — you’ve come to the right place. A little pricey… sure. But the quality of the plants is top notch and the staff are incredibly helpful and nice. I’ve been coming here for close to 10 years already and have purchased majority of my houseplants and basically all of my backyard plants from Flora. Pre-pandemic they have a little cafe w coffee and baked goods from Ritual.
Large, wide selection of plants. I went on a saturday - quite busy. The layout is pretty labyrinthine and not everyone was being very conscious about blocking the walkways. No big deal, but mildly annoying.
I came looking for an ordinary stake for a monstera and a plain terracotta pot as a temporary home for my anthurium plant before its large enough for a more decorative pot I have in mind. Wasn't able to find either, though there are tons of more decorative pots and planters. Definitely targeting a higher-end demographic with pricing. I left empty handed, but might come back when I'm looking for a nicer looking pot
This place is amazing. Greats selection of all kinds of plants and they also have a good variety of pots and planters. Staff is friendly and helpful too. I got all my flowers, herbs and tree plants from here, and will keep going in future too!
It’s like a botanical garden you can shop at! Find inspiration, a large selection of in and outdoor plants, and knowledgeable staff. It’s a fun place to visit and prices are reasonable.
There’s a nice assortment of modern planters and outdoor furniture.
I visited Flora Grubb recently because I had a generous gift card. The nursery has been on my wish list for a long time and I was not disappointed. I live in Davis and volunteer in the Arboretum. Although the nursery may seem overwhelming at first, it is very well laid out. The biggest plus is the staff. Clarke and Daniela were so helpful and knowledgeable that it was truly a special day. Thank you again!
A lovely garden supply. Gorgeous indoor/outdoor space, dog friendly, and has pretty much everything you need, with great style.
I love to stroll here once in a while. A beautiful place with magnificent plants! All the time I have questions, the consultant answers in detail and kindly, it's so interesting to listen to. From time to time I bought a new plant here for my home collection. Besides, it is always a pleasure to read a book here.
A magical oasis in the middle of a very industrial/commercial neighborhood. Plant selections are in abundance, with all in great health and of varying maturity. Prepare to pay a premium for the quality you receive, though you can always score some great deals if you look carefully and visit often. Little coffee shop inside to get something to drink while you browse (though current covid mask mandates have temporarily changed that). When the world is right again I plan on getting a nice coffee and sitting on one of those heated benches in the garden and just take it all in!
