Floyd's 99 Barbershop, San Diego CA

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and Angelica had been giving me the best most consistent skin fades I’ve ever had!

Sarah Parks at Floyd's 99 in Pacific Beach is the only person I trust with my hair! She is so talented, always a pleasure to talk to and knows my hair better than me. I met her 6 years ago and hope she'll be my stylist forever! Looking forward to my next hair care adventure with her! The location is convenient, parking is easy, place is clean and faces are friendly!

I’ve been coming to Sarah parks for a little over 2 years now. She always does a great meticulous job with my cut and even takes the time to trim up my eyebrows.

I always go to Floyd’s in the LA area. So I wanted to try one out in SD. The one in pacific beach has the worst service I’ve seen for a barber shop. I call in at 12: 30 to make a reservation at 2: 00, I get to the shop at 2: 07 because I had to walk several blocks to their location. And they tell me that my appointment was voided. They had multiple stylists just sitting around on their phones, and the dude at the front had the audacity to tell me they couldn’t proceed until 3: 30. So I decided to go across the street to a local barbershop, and now I realize Floyd’s was never good to begin with and just a fad with wall art and an overpriced brand.

Alvin gave me an amazing haircut today. I think it was one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. He really knew what he was doing. He really shaped it and did a great job thinning and cleaning my hair up. It's a really cool vibe in there. My only complaint is it's a little expensive for a barber shop

Shouldn't even be allowed to call this a barbershop. Don't even do shape ups or nothing with a strait blade. Got my money back though so at least that's good.

This is a great shop. I personally see David, he is very knowledgeable, and professional. Best haircut

Used to go here. Left after I walked in and the front desk guy decided to finish up a text instead of great me with a smile and warmth as is to be expected. Can’t blame him though.corporate controls all music and does not adjust to the level of people in store. I’d bang my head into a phone if I worked at the front desk there too. ATTENTION CORPORATE: let your people read the vibe there or instal a sensor to detect volume and pace and let your music be dictated by the flow of the place.

All in all good cuts though. Now I go across the street to JJ’s. Much more my vibe. Look for the guy with the throat tattoo. He is the best barber I’ve ever had. Down to earth and homie. A true friend. Has even inspired me to create a character for my next short story.

Okay. But don’t trust the appointment time. Had a 4: 30 appointment and waited until 5: 00 with no care given about their being super late.

Just walked in and they did a great job. Didn’t set up an appointment but they had me in a chair getting my hair cut in minutes.

Being on vacation, i thought i would just go out and get a haircut just to add to the experience. I had gone to the place across the street and had a great experience, and i thought i would give this place a try. While the shop was really nice and as was the barber, it was the worst fade i have had in a long time. I think the fact that they do both men and womens hair makes them not as specialized. It could of just been the one barber, but i am pretty disappointed. I'm going to have to get another hair cut before i go back to work

The stylist, Alexis, is awesome! She took her time and is very detail oriented. She did a great fade. Beard trim was also done to perfection. Thank you!

From day one this has been my favorite shop. They go above and beyond to make you feel special. I truly look forward to my next hair cut and clean up with Nancy. Thank you so much for the excellent service team!

I followed Hannah H.to this shop. Hannah has been cutting my hair for a couple of years. I enjoy her haircuts and great conversation. She is good people. Floyd’s is a good, clean shop.
Everyone is friendly. Place is always clean. Great location.
Oh, and I forgot how good a razor shave on my neck was.
I’m sure all the stylists are good. But Hannah is my choice.

Kristina is simply the best hair cutter in the area. My hair has several quirks and she understood my explanations the first time. I got compliments on my haircut, and that's unusual. She's great!

Great atmosphere and great cuts. The ladies working at Floyds make it their mission to make sure you enjoy your time here. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are looking for a new barber in the PB area.

Hannah gives a great fade! I wear my hair long on top with a low skin fade and she blends the two perfectly every time. I’ve been all around pb for haircuts and many have failed at this endeavor.

I love the artistic and musical vibe at Floyd's, and the customer service is superb. I recommend asking for Nicole from Jersey awesome girl and always a quality cut!
