The Seafood Tower was beyond delicious. More like a deconstructed California roll but with fresh Crab! So freaking good!

Scallops and prawns were very good.

Artichoke appetizer was on point.

Smooth as silk service.

Totally a ‘hole-in-the-wall’ type place. All the staff interacted with us and were friendly and funny. Food was great. And like others have said, the ginger salsa they should bottle and sell. A great, not-pretentious choice.

Awesome food. Very attentive and smiling staff. Great atmosphere. The Abalone was fantastic. The first place that I will book when we return to the area.

The Alaskan sea bass was fantastic! Also, the attentive service from the entire wait staff making sure our meal was perfect was second to none.

I did have high hopes for this place and it was a mediocre in my opinion which some can argue. I ordered Salmon dish and it was a bad idea.it came with extra pasta as a server mentioned which I did not care for at all and didn’t ordered that way, overall dish was Ok. Service was just fine also, nothing outstanding or personable. Host seemed overwhelmed and seating was somewhat chaotic, mind you this isn’t a big restaurant at all. Overall wasn’t impressed at all and most likely won’t be back. Still 3 stars because restaurant was executed in style.

Delicious food in a charming scene located in the basement of a retail building. Scallops and prawns were a menu highlight as well as the wonton chips and salsa Accommodating and attentive staff really make the experience a wonderful experience.

Dinner was excellent. Attentive service. Food came out very hot, courses were spaced well and everyone liked their dishes. Owner is there and makes sure all runs smoothly.

Enjoyed the whole experience. We didn’t have a reservation and they still made sure to accommodate and seat with great attentive service and delicious food

I always have to come for the seafood claypot! The wontons instead of bread is a nice touch. Huge quality and local wine selection. AND I always have the creme Brule! Amazing dishes! The management and staff made my daughters and me feel special. I never miss this stop when I am in Carmel. You should not miss it either!

I could not have been more disappointed in our meals! We came to Half Moon Bay for the seafood! We actually made a special trip just to eat here! Every single fish meal we ordered was grossly over cooked! The octopus was tough and chewy, the petrole sole was dry and bland, and the fish and chips were inedible. We sent back 3 of the 4 entrees we ordered and the only reason mine didn't go back was because I hadn't eaten all day! If you want good food, go somewhere else!

The food was really flavorful and light, we both enjoyed our meals and didn't feel overly full after.

Wish we could give more than 5 Stars. We've been visiting this area for decades and have missed coming here. Too bad for us. What an amazing first visit. Through good and bad times, this place has remained. You have to visit to experience why. What a great experience. Thank you all ;-) Seafood Clay Pot for 2.is what's pictured.

I AM ALMOST AT A LOST FOR WORDS. IT WAS BEYOND GOOD! The Yin Yan Salmon was the highlight of the meal!

Had terrific appetizer and dinner. The scallops and prawn dinner was exceptional. So was the beef roll appetizer. I look forward to visiting again very soon!

There are so many good places to eat in the area, I don’t know why anyone would come here?
Yea the guys are wonderful, but the food is just not that good people

Staff was superb atmosphere was nice but dated. Food wasn't bad but I wouldn't rate it as amazing. But in general it was a good experience

Small and little outdated restaurant, but with a unique personality. They have great food, amazing ginger salsa with chips for everybody, great service too!
