Focus Physical Therapy

Thank you Focus PT for helping me heal from my achilles tendonitis. Although still working towards complete recovery, I am thankful that through the PT visits with Laurette and her team I have been able to resume most of my normal daily activities. I learned how to take care of my injury. I also had a great time getting to know her during this time. She is a natural at conversing and getting to know her patients. I am going to miss her!

Ive had shoulder pain for over a year and had a cortisone shot, but still it wasn't getting any better. I went to Focus Physical therapy and decided to try their laser therapy. I bought 6 sessions and the first one I felt relief for the first time in a year. I would recommend it for anyone that hasn't found relief in other avenues. I am very happy with my results!

This is by far the best physical therapy office you could ever go to! Julian is amazing! He has so much skill and knowledge to help you improve and make your quality of life better, not to mention he is funny! I first came to him 5 years ago in a wheelchair and now I am walking completely on my own and have gained so much strength with his help. The whole rest of the staff are also great and very friendly!

Dr. Dean and the staff at Focus Physical Therapy are great! I took my daughter for PT here and they helped with her shoulder injury. Dr. Dean and the PT assistants are very knowledgeable and nice. My daughter enjoyed doing PT here and I would recommend this office & staff for sports related injuries. The young ladies in the front desk are very friendly and kind too!

Focus PT is the BEST! I have been a patient here for many years and the treatment and care that Julian and his staff offer is top notch. They have helped me get mobile after two surgeries as well as staying pain free when minor tweaks from activities I love to do pop up. This is the only place I recommend to my family and friends when they need PT.

I have had 2 major orthopedic surgeries - a knee replacement in 2016 and a rotator cuff/ bicep tear this past September.
Of course I returned for my rotator cuff, because they are so amazing. I have been truly transformed each time, returning to swimming, biking, Pilates, and much more. They take a half an hour with you to evaluate you each time and manipulation/massage. Then you go out to the gym and do exercises with a wonderful tech. Finally you are given ice and stem. You are constantly evaluated as you build flexibility and strength.

I have been to Focus Physical Therapy over the years for a variety of medical issues. Each time I have had great success in resolving the issue. One of the things that is constant is the high quality of care and attention you get on a personal level. This includes the office staff, the therapists, and the PT assistants. I also like the fact that the program is designed to heal your body naturally without medication. A special thanks to Laura, Grace and Rachael!

Really appreciate the care and treatment from Phill On, who is my physical therapist. Focus Physical Therapy's practice of the hands on treatment for patients is really practical and beneficial for patients. This is one of the best PT services that I have ever visited.

My experience at Focus PT has been wonderful. I started PT there to build strength around my arthritic hip. The PT helped a lot with my strength and mobility until it was time for a hip replacement, which I had a year ago. I then had more PT sessions at Focus after the surgery which I feel has enhanced my recovery. I'm super grateful to Julian and Nona, my physical therapists. Each of them were in tune with my issues and their PT was effective. The assistants and office staff were all supportive and helpful and I enjoyed my visits. I am happy to report that I'm feeling stronger and more physically able than I've felt in many years!

Love this place! After my ankle injury, I went to two other physical therapy places with no results. After a friend recommended Focus Physical Therapy, I went and was highly impressed. They have hands on treatments and also staff that not only are experienced, but listen to your concerns. My orthopedic doctor also shared how impressed he is with my recovery. My physical therapist Otila is wonderful. Highly recommend.

When I walked in, my lower back pain was keeping me from doing things I like to do. Phil did a great job of designing a program that got me moving again pain free. His hands on was great and he pushed me to do more and more challenging exercises. I’m now pain free

After knee surgery for an insufficiency fracture and a minor meniscus tear I attended physical therapy (PT) at a different facility. I was able to strengthen my knee, but I was still experiencing pain when I moved certain ways. I hoped the pain would eventually go away, but it did not. I began to believe that I would always have this pain.

Then my wife began attending Focus Physical Therapy in Rancho Santa Margarita for PT for her shoulder issue. She told me that Julian was really making a difference in her case and that I should try PT again at Focus PT.

I began PT sessions there and it has really helped. Julian’s approach is far different from what most PT centers offer. He spends 20 to 30 minutes each session performing hands on manipulation of the affected area. He works to get to the cause of the pain. He then focuses on manipulating muscle and tissue with the goal of realigning the joint and muscles and strengthening the surrounding muscles that support the joint. He then prescribes exercises that are specifically selected to both strengthen and re-train the muscles and their support tissues for your specific case. You are not just given generic exercises for the knee.

Since I began with Focus Physical Therapy I have seen remarkable improvement. My pain has diminished a lot and the types of movements or incidents that cause the pain are fewer. I feel confident that my pain will be completely gone by the time I finish my sessions.
