Fog City reviews
13 Quite good!
Went there to try the pizza which was very good, we took the para and goat cheese one. A bit undercooked IMO, maybe because it isn't Milano style pizza. But it felt fresh and was very good.
We also tried the truffled mac & cheese, but those weren't that good because they lack cheese. On the bright side they smelled like truffle.
Service is great! Multiple waiters refilled our glass and all were nice.
Overal a good place to have lunch.
We split the salmon sandwich and the truffle mac & cheese. Both were so yummy. I usually wouldn't eat onions and peppers on a sandwich but all the flavors together were amazing. The sandwich came with arugula salad which was a fresh and delicious addition. The service was really great too!
We stopped in here before grabbing the ferry. Brittany is the most cheerful waitress I have ever met. Russian river on tap, amazing cocktails and an a great pizza. You need to go here.
We stopped in for lunch and didn’t have a great experience. It took 10 minutes to get water, but that was not the person taking our order, after another 10, I had to go and remind someone that we were out there. Once service came, it was quick.
My wife got the green goddess salad and liked it just fine. We shared the breadsticks and they were ok (a little more cheese and garlic salt might help). My salmon sandwich was just not that good. The salmon didn’t have much taste and there was a heavy taste of grill grease (that’s the best way I can describe it). They did comp the sandwich. I am sure it is a good place, but our experience was not that great.
Really great service, dirty martini was delicious and they were very kind to our dogs. Great place to take a little rest while walking the Embarcadero.
Came here last min to get lunch in between our tours.food and drinks were great.service was a tad on the slow side but they might have been short staffed.if we werent' in a rush would have stayed here longer.
You’ll know what I mean if you are an real ax fan, had a great meal and drink, when I was leaving it STARTED to RAIN! So I walked.
This place is a classic SF institution. I have eaten here whenever I visit over the past 25 years and it continues to deliver. Great atmosphere, wonderful wait staff and great food. The key lime pie is well worth saving room for. Espresso was about the only minor disappointment.
Walked by this 100 times - finally gave it a go for business. SUPERB top notch service. Food not quite at the same level but still worth 5 stars!
We got dropped off for our cruise and had time to kill before our boarding time. It was cold and windy out and we found Fog City right across the street. Friendly staff and very helpful. The onion shreds and Brussels Sprouts to start off, the house ketchup is tasty. Then we had the Mac n Cheese and would absolutely do it again any time we're in the city. Try the special, check out this great spot by the pier!
Thank you for being so helpful!
Absolutely delicious food! Brussel sprouts are unbelievable, wood fired pizzas are to die for! You guys in San Francisco are so spoiled with food here - THE ABSOLUTE BEST!
The manager is a silly Guy. We just want to pay with our credit card with a separate check and it seems to be too difficult for him to understand!
Stopped in Friday late afternoon and had a salmon taco, Brussel sprouts & wonderful Purple Haze cocktail! Sat outside sitting in the sunshine! Wonderful food & cocktails! Apple crisp served warm with ice cream rounded out a very tasty SF experience! A must if new to city or for out of town guests!
