Very well kept and welcoming place. They offer big meals and for fair prices. We liked the meals a lot and the staff were very attentive and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Okay so this place is expensive but man if you want to write a different Meats to put on a Barbie and brought to you and or rotisserie and bright you and it just dropped off on your plate it's like all you can eat Meats a walk around and give you steak pork lamb it is just you walked out of that place at the food coma

Smell's so bad. I don't think they know the difference between medium rare and just rare.got a diarrhea.

My husband and I wanted to take his family to a nice dinner as a thank you for the support the provided for our wedding so we picked Fugo de Chão. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the nice evening we had hoped. Immediately once we sat down multiple servers started coming up to us asking if we wanted meat and we didn’t even know who our main server was. No one even explained how the process worked. They just pointed us to the salad bar to get our main plates. It was chaotic and stressful. They also had “non experience” items being passed around that would be incremental but without a clear explanation of the process we weren’t always sure and the servers weren’t immediately forth coming when something was addictive. Also everything at the salad bar, even the added sides (e.g steamed veggies, sautéed mushrooms, rice, beans etc) were cold. Lastly, while the servers had masks on, several were wearing them under their noses which defeats the purpose. They might as well not have had them on. Net net, we were disappointed that what should have felt like a nice treat and meal out with family was not that. I’d recommend people try other steakhouses in the area for this type of experience. It was definitely NOT worth the money.

The food and the service are four star. The only place they need help is in keeping their bathroom clean and stocked.

Salad bar was a mess. They ran out of farofa (that ground powder you put on your rice/beans). Was bombarded by meat as soon as I sat down and then no one showed up later. One of the cuts of meat was still raw.

There are waaaay better options in the area than this. Doesn't win at all with their other competition. **cough cough drive 10 more minutes down Stevens Creek**

It was mediocre. The food was prepared normally for a Brazilian steakhouse but the salad bar didn't have a decent selection. The tables were also situated too close to each other and it was tough to enjoy the ambiance.

I brought my parents here to celebrate a special occasion. The food was pretty good but I was honestly left very dissatisfied with the level of service. During the entire experience I had no idea who was serving us. I had to wave my hand multiple times to have someone come help us. We asked for a fork for which we had to for ask multiple times. The same happened with condiments. Even when the sign on our table was green, I had to wave for someone to come help us over and this happened on multiple occasions. Maybe it is my fault that I had high expectations of Fogo de Chao. I would come back for the food but not the service. I left feeling disappointed.

Been to the sf location previously and this was was first time here in SJ.lots of fruit flies, close table proximity, and forgotten requests all are why i rated 2/5. This was not anything like my
my other experience with fogo de chao

Disappointing is an understatement. I had previously visited the location in San Francisco and the entire experience was perfect. Definitely not the case here. I visited with a friend for the Veterans Day special they were having. We were seated in the very back, at a corner table. About 75% of the time, we were completely ignored by the servers, and the employees serving the meats. 25 minutes had gone by after being seated and nobody had even asked for our drinks yet. We grabbed an employee to ask who our server was, and turned out it was the one at the table next to us who had been there countless times and never even looked at us. Once that was settled (the waiter situation; we were still mostly ignored by the meat servers) we were greeted by a cockroach on the wall that wouldn’t go away. We let the staff know, and at least 5 people (at separate times) came out of the kitchen, looked at it, and went back into the kitchen. Nobody said a word about it. Needless to say, I’ll stick to the San Francisco location.

Came to Fogo for my son’s 12th birthday and couldn’t ask for better experience. The food and service was exceptional. Justin was phenomenal! Fogo is lucky to have Justin. Thanks bro!

I’m very disappointed. I went to fogo de chão here in San Jose and the food wasn’t great at all. I’m Brazilian and I know all our good flavors and today I ate feijoada and was very far away from our traditional yummy dish. Also the brunch station with cake, waffle and omelete was very messy and disorganized. Totally unappetizing.
Lastely the lady’s restroom was with a terrible smell! What is a shame for a well known restaurant! I think is missing a great manager to take care of those things.

Very poor Customer service.
I called the restaurant 4 hours prior to dinner time for a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday.
Everything was confirmed over the phone.
Once arrived at the restaurant, they were unable to find the reservation. They made us wait for 45 minutes. The table was set up and 2 knives and 1 fork were missing.
At the end of the dinner, we were charged 1 extra meal. I called the server and had him correct it.
He brought the check back. I handed him 1 gift card good for 2 meals and added a credit card for the remaining balance. I was still charged for an extra meal. The server said he was sorry and that the manager will come see us.
We waited for about 10 minutes and he never showed up. It happened that he was standing right next to our table but never intended to talk to us.
I approached him and told him about the poor experience and said that he was aware of it and that he was sorry.
I told him how unhappy we were and that a bad review was on the way. He said "okay" and left.
It was a complete mess.

My friend ordered online but his order got picked up by someone else with the same first name. They didn’t check last name and other confirmation info carefully, which made me wait another 40min for our food. I know due to Thanksgiving they were fully occupied, but please please please be careful when someone picking up any orders. Thanks!

Terrible service, high prices. They were out of the sea bass and since I already got a plate at the garden bar they charged me only for it. It was $34 and not very good they asked the rest of our group what kind of meat they wanted.we reasked 8 times for beef ribs and after a long time as we were going to leave they brought it. It was not worth the wait strong no on the recommendation.

The place of meat the best place - the dérive is amazing people are so nice. All kind of meat? The best. For the buffet try to go slow and the salad is delicious. Ask for the Brazilian lemonade. The best drink ever. Coffee ️ and desert is also great. The espresso ️ is great the flan as a desert is delicious. Now for the meat. The selection is huge: filet mignon ️ and the lamb sticks are delicious. The chicken selection is great. I highly recommend this place. Thank you! Ask for Eunise Lopez the best manager of this restaurant
