Folk Arts Rare Records reviews
9Great place for used records with a big selection. They seem to specialize in jazz, obscure stuff, and classic rock. Don't expect to find much modern stuff here. I miss when they had two locations, Jupiter was the best
A very huge and varied selection of vinyl records (LP's) for CD's for incredible prices. Highly recommended!
Biggest selection of old cassettes I’ve found in secondhand stores so far. Includes local artists and a bargain bin of 1-2 track tapes for under 2 dollars each.
Vast selection of genres on vinyl record and CD. Staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We spent about an hour and a half searching for music. Will come back during our next visit to California.
Fantastic used record store. Could have spent another full day there, but had to catch a flight.
Huge selection from vintage vinyls all the way to modern albums. They provide turntables for you to listen to a record before purchasing. They also have plenty of cd's and cassettes available.
A top favorite record shop in San Diego County hands down! I’ve been collecting since 2004, buying across CA and I can attest their selection will impress anyone. Been going since they opened in their previous location in El Cajon BLVD. Go with plenty of time. In fact, come in with a list of things you are looking for because with the amount of records and CDs they have it can be good overwhelming. The entire staff are very knowledgeable and good vibes all around. They have two stores, if your 21+ check out the other location inside a HiFi cocktail lounge spot called Part Time Lover. My favorite thing about this spot is that their newly arrival section is always full of gems.
Found all the timeless 70s classic rock albums I grew listening to. And I wasn't even done with half the first row. Wish they were open for longer hours on the weekends!
