Folsom City Lions Park reviews
13This place used to have animals, idk what happened but its pretty barren now. Not the Folsom Zoo of my childhood.
Pleasant, it’s amazing to see Fall colors at this place. Worth visiting at least once in Fall season for those in Folsom
The lights are up for Christmas! The children's train, huge playground and beautiful sitting area for picnics. Baseball fields and of course the teaching zoo for wildlife care. With sidewalks all around.
This is an awesome park…. Only problem is that the city has decided to allow a fairly large homeless population congregate here. The result is a park that isn’t safe or clean for the kids anymore. Such a shame.
My wife and daughters and in-laws had a blast here! The play structures are unique and fun and allow for kids of any age to have plenty of activities to explore and participate in! This time of year is great for the trees changing to fall colors, and the weather is incredibly pleasant to run around and play! We will definitely be coming back here any time we come to the Folsom zoo in the future!
Attended Renaissance Fair. Good amount of shade and the park was clean. Park restrooms were pretty disgusting and out of soap. Looked like homeless bathed there.
It's a great park! Plus, it's tucked back away from major traffic so you only have the sounds of the zoo.kids.and the like.
The big park is fun for dads to play on. The little park is a bit boring for dads, except when you climb up on stuff that "your not supposed to".
The zoo is like 7$ a person.the train is 3$ a person. Just a heads up.
The library here is awesome too.
All in all, it's a great park! Oh, and it is always clean!
A fun place to take the kids after the zoo or even before.
They have a bigger kids play area as well as one for little kids.
Two areas of swings as well.
So much to explore for little ones. Musical sounds, slides, sand areas, and a wild west area.
There are restrooms at this park as well as picnic tables.
Spacious venue, wedding coordinator Brandi kept program moving at a good pace by communicating with us (DJ/ MC /Visual Tech) constantly which helped us keep all scheduled activities moving at a good pace, the caterer's were from out of the area, but the food was excellent. If you plan on having a big event with 300+ guests, this is the spot!
I found drug stuff around there and my daughter almost broke her neck on the slide but we didn't stay to long.
Has a small children area and a big children’s area. It looks well kept up and clean! We enjoy our day there. It has a place to get ice cream and something to drink there. Close by the animal zoo! I would recommend this place!
This place has potential, but it's filthy. The bathroom are seriously horrendous, like never been cleaned before. It's just kind of "LET GO"
I really love the park as it has so many things that alot of other parks don't have, but there is one thing about this park. It is dead, when I went 5 years ago, it was also dead with no people, just peacocks and birds chirping. As I went again present-day, it was also dead. The park looks like it has not been cleaned in a very long time and it is very stinky.
