Fontana DMV

Went with a friend, they forgot some paperwork. Talked to Jerry and he efficiently checked my Driver's license, re printed my motorcycle permit, and made my day easy.

Security guard Christian is very funny, kind, and helpful with instructions. He made the process at the DMV a lot smoother and fun, even for a DMV visit! Thank you Christian!)

The staff has loud radio playing music.
And it is hard to focus when testing for a driver's license.

A friend went to this DMV and was discriminated against by an instructor for not speaking English, the instructor was Hispanic and spoke Spanish but she was very racist towards my friend and very despotic denied him taking the driving test just for not speaking English.
Terrible service, if you are Hispanic, I do not recommend going to this DMV, they are very racist.

I walked in, waited behind one other customer at the kiosk, then did my Registration Renewal there. That was the least painful visit to the DMV ever. It was less than 10 minutes. It's also a very nice building and the associates there are polite and friendly.

Never thought I'd leave a review for a DMV, but I have to say, this DMV was the best DMV expensive ever had. They were so nice and efficient. I got in and out in 15 minutes (with an appointment) to get my RealID. Honestly I'm so confused by how get this was.

Very friendly, They open at 8 in the morning, but the front desk helped people when they arrived even 30 minutes before 8. Save a lot of time. The best DMV I have ever been.

Gloria was really nice and helped get me in and out of here quick. I had to update my mailing address and fill a form out to have late fees waived. I made an appointment and was called about 15 minutes after arriving.

Had an appointment at 3: 20pm for a new driver's permit
They took my information, asked me to take my photo, then take the exam. I left at 4: 40pm

I had the worst experience when taking my son to take his driving test. The Examiner Joeelyn took my son thru and unsafe route with debris

Security Christian was very helpful! The kiosk wasn’t working and he was quick to find a solution! Don’t know if I would’ve got my tags without him!

They always tell people after 4 pm that is only cash that the system is down seen to me that we here to give them business and how in the world I will pay 1200 on registration cash to me is embarrassing from the city of fontana

Every time I’ve taken my test with a different instructor they say an inaccurate mark that doesn’t go by the driving book and failed me four times. I feel racially discriminated as an African American woman. The behind the wheel driving instructors need to improve their attitudes.

A heads up on when you take your driver's test here. Very rude female driving instructor. I don't even know what her name was, because she didn't want to give it to me when I was trying to make small talk. She said she's the driving instructor so she's right, NOT the California drivers handbook. I'd advise you take your California drivers handbook as proof of the regulations. I took the same route with a relative after the test and my relative couldn't comprehend how I did not pass. I hope this place re-evaluates who they hire as a driving instructor! BE AWARE!

It's was a good day at the DMV. Registered online, the app was great. Both ladies that assisted me were knowledgeable on their job function. Very pleasant, both had smiling faces. Which goes a long way.

Best DMV I've ever gone to. The building is big and new, air-conditioned and always comfortable. Do the concrete though cell phone signal is very weak for Verizon but not so bad I couldn't get online. They really move through customers quickly and efficiently. I can't ever remember a time that I wasn't in and out of there in under an hour at maximum that is really saying something for a DMV. Keep up the great work you're definitely setting the standard.
