Food 4 Less, San Diego CA

You local grocery store - really good prices and easy to get around. It has Walmart prices (actually fresh produce and meats are cheaper) but not the Walmart hassle. I'm often in and out in 10 mins if I use the self checkout. You can get 2 sometimes even 4 lemons for $1. Green onion is 50 cents a bunch. Those are the type of prices. But the negative is they don't have a huge selection of some items. They have all the food and alcohol you need, but their selection of cleaning supplies or medicine is limited. Like, they might have one choice of meds for upset stomach whereas CVS might give you three or four choices. Also, I wanted Metamucil and they didn't carry it. But they do have fresh pork, beef, shrimp, salmon, chicken and every non-exotic fruit or vegetable, including coffees, cereals and dairy. There is even a vodka brand for $9.99 for a 1.75 L.

I shop a lot and everywhere, they are much cheaper by far
and they have all you need.
I go there for more then a year now.

I wish I could give negative points, dirty place, overpriced and the “customer care” people are terrible. Not only to us but to everyone in the store. JESSICA at the self check out it was definitely condescending, childish and overall not helpful. Such a nightmare of a place

Long live Sprouts

I was irritated when I've looked at my fridge that was out of stock. Yesterday, I decided to visit this store, for they were near to my place. I was surprised by the nice accommodation of the security guard to me. Also, when I came in, the place was big, comfortable, and safe to walk in. Even the foods that I bought were all in good selections, plenty of fruits and vegetables, and fresh meats. I promise to come back here. Thanks for the service!

Store is trash. The close the doors way before they close. Manager doesn’t know what he’s doing on July 9th 2020 at 1050pm. Poor customer service and employees. Don’t shop here.

Great place, great staff! Tom the manager is a great guy and we always talk when I run into him! Saw him today as I walked up and he was outside wiping down carts to ensure everyone is safe. Thanks for always being a great guy!

What is the purpose of getting a raincheck if you won't honor it. I did not expect this level of service. We usually go shopping on Tuesdays so it is common to find many items on sale out of stock since sales start on Wednesdays. We got a raincheck a few weeks ago and their poor trained employee wrote down my name instead of his. For this reason they did not want to honor it and basically made it look like I wrote that raincheck. I didn't get any apology at all. We come to this store every week for the low prices but it is a long drive and with this type of service we are considering not coming back.

Good place a lot of good selection. They recently got a bunch of organic fruits and vegetables which is a huge bonus. The produce here is cheaper than most other locations in the area and generally higher quality. The crowd can be a little sketchy at times.

The store is great except that they need to clean their atm/credit card machine or replace them with new one that is properly working. Many times I have to reactivate my card due to their machine is declining my card.

Great deals. I had to change my rating due to an associate by the name of Mike or Mark Barnes. I called today to find out the store hours for Easter. When he answered, he said his name, then said we are open regular hours today, then said, how may I help you? I proceeded to say that the store hours were exactly what I was calling for and before I could say thank you, he hung up on me. Like slammed the phone down as if he was irritated that people kept calling for store hours. Very unprofessional and uncalled for. Please have a talk with your employee, he may need to brush up on his customer service training.

Food 4 Less is one of the best stores for a good bargain. You can make it a better bargain by shopping their ad and stocking up, as well as using their digital coupons.

It's great for bargain deals on groceries. My only complaint is that there isn't much dairy alternative option. They do have soy milk, but no dairy alternative yogurt or dairy alternative coffee creamers. I'm pretty sure they don't have vegan cheese either. Other than that, they have great produce, great prices on raw meat, good deals on all your grocery needs.

I gave Food 4 less 5 stars because it is the best location in the town of San Diego food isles are fully stocked, the meat is of good quality and so is their produce they had everything I needed. Staff is very helpful and very professional.

Best grocery store ever. Good prices and lots of different brands. They have a bakery in the store plus you can buy some products in bulk. Big produce section too plus ready made salads and appetizers.

This is my neighborhood store, I love coming here. The management, the clerks.everybody is always smiling no matter what time of the day I go.

The prices here are off the chain, and most definitely the "BOMBDIGGITY "! That means there are really good prices here. They just need to bring the prices down lower, and keep them down. It doesn't matter if it's the food prices or other things that they sell, but especially the food prices gotta be like they have always been, lower prices. Also, when you put the Arizona drinks on sale for 2 for $1.00, that's really some good, awesome, "BOMBDIGGITY "! Prices right there. Please keep those going. You might even want to have all the flavors that Arizona makes, in there. No joke.

I walk by here every morning on my way to the methadone clinic. Most days I stop in and grab something to eat.since at my methadone clinic they trip on people spending any more than one minute in the bathroom I take my time and do a fat issue in Food 4 less. The employees have never given me an hassle. On the mornings I need some extra cash to pick up, they have an eco atm so I can sell a cell phone. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because out of the large selection of Pop-tarts they have they don't carry my favorite. My favorite is strawberry milkshake.

They sell very good meat here. I always come when I am going to have a barbecue. Prices are fair, and its a lot cleaner then the walmart grocery store.

They have great selection of produce and other grocery products. Prices arenpretty affordable compared to other grocery stores. They have wide. I had been looking for corned beef brisket for a while in many grocery stores and i found one here.
