Staff are friendly but why are these stores in the Stone Age? It’s 2022 and you don’t take electronic payments?

Some days of the week they are very busy, but I still recommend this place, sometimes it’s cold too so it’s important to bring a cloth lol. But they have a variety of options for everything you need, so you can go there.

WOW! I was impressed with this grocery store. We had just left Sharp Cuyamaca and I had to buy Gatorades, pedialyte, soups, popsicles, crackers and a couple other items for my sick daughter. This store is very spacious and clean and everything was easy to find even though I had never been in the store.

It's a huge store with a lot of variety. The prices are low but sometimes the check out lines are long. You package your purchases so I recommend bringing your own bags. They offer small bags for free.

Not sure why it was so slow during the check out at the time to stand in line with only 2 cashier's

Only shop here for things in sale be for warned they don't like white people. Once again i go in to buy some soda that is on sale. After we loaded everything in to a cart when the help of a guy that was sitting at the door. We get to the cash register. This Hispanic lady gets an attitude with us. Tells my dad and i that we cant buy that much. Where the Pepsi and Mountain Dew was there was no limit on the sale sign. We had 12 6 packs bottles of both. They told us that there was a sign clear across the other side of the store. That says they can limit any item. I didnt know you had to ask or walk all the way over there to see it. The white lady if you can call her a lady. Was the manager she walked up with an attitude. I have had better service in different countries than I ever have received here.

Bad service! I asked the worker who is assigned in the produce for the price of oranges and just said I don't know instead of finding out the price. Very rude! Don't shop there.

Compared to other locations this one feels 100% a better experience. It is worth the extra drive from a nearby location to go to this location.

Friendly staff, a decent floor plan, and actually decent selection, this location is the preferred grocery store.

Compared to other locations (looking at you lemon Grove and El cajon) most spits have a cramped narrow aisle and almost prison like experience with gates, guards, and restrictive layout. This feels more open and a better shopping experience.

Other locations the employees often seem more like day workers than trained employees, and the people here are often made of of the best ones you might have seen at other locations.

Easy parking easy to find easy to get in and out. This is how a grocery store should be run. If I had to pick something for correction, some products are weirdly separated or placed not near like items.

Jan. 14.11pm. Store listing says open until 12am. Parking lot was empty. Called the store. Phone rang and rang, then finally some employee answered than hung up.

I went to this store and had a cashier named D Angelo. He was by far the nicest person I've ever met at this store. He smiled throughout the transaction and made me feel welcome.

(My wife’s experience!) Beware! Shopped here today with my 6 yr. Old daughter and was approached by a man asking questions. Another man followed me throughout the store and acted as if he was on the phone. Once he seen i was watching him, he left his cart and the store. I called my husband immediately and notified the staff. It looked to be at least three guys working together. One will try to distract you by asking questions about shoes or clothes. One is bald with a long salt and pepper beard, that goes to a point. He was the follower. The second gentleman was a heavy weight guy with a distinctive hat reading, (International Airport) and was the distraction guy. The third guy short black hair combed to the back and slender build. All three appeared to be hispanic. Be safe!

Food 4 less is always great. The always have everything you expect to get from a grocery stor and more. I got these blankets there that where super soft, love them and another time we were moving and had to sleep in the uhal, we needed blankets and pillows, and they had them, CVS didn't even have any. They also have low prices and a friendly knowledgeable staff. The stores always clean and always stocked and mostly faced. They have a bakery and meat department but no deli. The fresh fruits and fresh vegetables are always fresh and ready to eat. I will be shoping there again and again and I would definitely recommend Food 4 less.

I really like Food 4 Less. Although many items I would regularly buy seem to always get discontinued. Employees have always been nice and helpful.

No matter how busy it is, they will not open up another lane, except for other employees. Their machines do not take contactless payments.

This might be the best food for less I've ever been to.having recently moved from el cajon to santee, i figured i'd give it it's day in court.unlike the cesspool that is the el cajon store, this one is clean, well organized, well stocked, employees aren't completely useless, and the selection of items is great.the parking lot isn't full of trash, bums, tweakers, etc.i didn't see or hear a single screaming child, didn't witness any fistfights or assaults, and the other shoppers were cordial and considerate.freaking outstanding.this will be my main go-to now for groceries.good job.
