Chris and his team make this tour the BEST! So fun and low stress and get to know the best of SF. Highly recommend!

Chris led an amazing tour of Chinatown and North Beach for us. Highly recommended!

Yesterday, I attended for the first time, the tour with Chris and Foodie Adventures. I immediately want to give my review because of the awesome experience I had. Chris is charismatic, funny, and full of inside scoop on San Francisco. Being a native of SF, he knows all the hidden gems and has built a wonderful rapport with the local vendors. The stories he told us were interesting and kept us captivated. Now picture someone with that much personality, who is also a chef, and you can just imagine the places he took us to within Chinatown and North Beach (Little Italy). We had the best food ever! Places I would never thought to visit; outside of the tourist norm. Places only the locals know about; it was awesome! Do come hungry, with an empty stomach, as you will not be disappointed and your tastebuds will be satisfied. We enjoyed an array of delicious items from dim-sum to pizza to the best gelato ever! I am now looking forward to my next adventure with Chris and Foodie Adventures - the Mission district! Foodie Adventures you are one of the best gems in San Francisco and well worth every moment!

My cousin from California recommended this and was with us, on her third tour. Now it is my time to say that, “I highly recommend this tour! ” Chris is not just a wealth of knowledge, he is also an amazing host, making sure that all his guests are looked after. Case in point, and among other things: my son was not feeling well, with a headache, at the latter part of the tour. Chris checked in on him and still set apart some food for him. I am thankful for that. Such a small detail but a very important one. I am also impressed with the relationships he has built with the locals / shop owners.

The Mission tour was a welcome break from the touristy side of SF. It gave a glimpse into the grassroots, “real world” of the Mission district: its beauty and the current problems it is faced with. Chris was also not kidding when he said that you’ll be stuffed at the end!

How good is this? My cousin says she’ll for sure come back again (4th time?), and I unequivocally say I’ll do it again, or maybe do the North Beach- Chinatown through Chris!
