Worst ER I've ever been in.horrible bedside.no call button.and a moldy vent above my bed.oh.and getting treated slowly due to their perception I was a drug treatment facility patient.no guys. I'm a private patient that knows Osha is going to have a field day with you guys.

Waited over 4hrs an i was never seen by a doctor, one of the male nurses was extremely rude!

Dear Hospital Executives,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received during my emergency room visit to Foothill Regional Medical Center on April 24,2023.

My name is David Lloyd, and on that day, I arrived at the hospital in excruciating pain. However, despite my condition, the emergency room check-in staff made me fill out paperwork about myself, which was entirely unnecessary and caused me additional discomfort.

Once I was admitted, I was placed in a storage room and largely ignored by the staff, except for a nurse who did what she could to help. Unfortunately, the assigned doctor refused to assist me with the extreme amount of pain that I was experiencing, seemingly assuming that I was a drug addict going through withdrawals.

I spent four hours in the emergency room, from 2: 30 PM to 6: 30 PM, during which time I was in severe agony. Despite my pleas for relief, the doctor would not provide me with any effective pain medication and instead chose to experiment with various non-pain related drugs. I was eventually given a weak medication that did not help, and the doctor refused to tell me what it was.

I am confident that if any of you were to have experienced the same situation, you would be equally outraged. The pain I was experiencing was beyond anything I can describe, and I left the hospital at 6: 30 PM without receiving any real treatment. I had to suffer for an additional 12 hours before seeking medical attention elsewhere.

It is unacceptable that a hospital should ignore the cries for help from their patients, and I demand that you take action to ensure that this does not happen again. I request that you discontinue the use of storage rooms for ER patients, as it is not a suitable environment for treatment. Furthermore, I demand that you instruct your staff that ignoring calls from patients in the ER is a fireable offense.

I must emphasize that I am not a drug addict, nor was I experiencing drug withdrawals. The doctor's assumption was based on his own biases and not on any facts. Additionally, I demand that the charges for my Monday visit be waived completely. I received substandard care and refuse to pay for it.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that you take immediate action to address the issues raised in this email.

This hospital is bad my husband and myself had to wait 30 min to be seen I told the front desk staff several times that he has an open wound and is bleeding until I demanded to have the head nurse or a doctor to come see him they did something. Then the supervisor of the head nurses which her name is Mildred from the ER told security for me not to enter as I have an attitude. Yes I have an attitude my husband is sitting in the ER with an open wound in an area that can’t be seen in public and we can’t see what is going on. They need to have more professional matter in these situations. If my husband bleeds out they would have not been liable at all.

Nice staff, but wait is ridiculously long with no one waiting in the ER lobby. Front desk states that they’re extremely busy with patients, but there wasn’t anyone in front of me that is getting seen nor did anyone behind me get in early, so maybe they were taking a lot of ambulance. It was a 4 hour wait for a 1 minute checkup. The doctor (a guy with long white hair) is extremely impatient and unhelpful. Didn’t even wanna listen to anything I had to say about my condition and told me that’s all he can help with. The nurses are the only ones that treat you respectfully. Do not come here unless you don’t have a choice.

I had to sit in the emergency room from 10pm to 7am without getting any treatment and finally walked out without getting any treatment so I can tell my friends never go to this hospital for emergency especially you will not get the treatment on time.

This was the far most friendly and caring facility. I had to admit myself due to a severe pain and they found appendicitis and needed a surgery right away. They were able to apply the State coverage since I was between the jobs. They were so helpful. Yes, I needed to wait for sometime but that’s expected in any place. If anyone needs an emergency care, go there.
