Joanne is the best! She’s extremely sweet, keeps the laundromat clean and tidy, always has quarters and detergent, will even give you additional little supplies if needed, and she will do a wash and fold service for you for just a few bucks! Foothill wash house is my go to laundry spot. They stay open pretty late and make sure the customers are safe after dark. If no one is in the laundry mat when you need stuff you can just call the phone number and Joanne will head over within a few minutes to accommodate you.

Very clean, quiet and new machines. I've driven by hundreds of laundromats to get here, Always worth it!

Super-clean, super nice people. The only laundromat I know in the area that takes credit and debit cards. I always do laundry here instead of at my building's laundry room. The place is comfortable, nice, the machines work, and they stay open until 11 pm. I honestly don't know a better place in Oakland.

I don't know if the previous review showed up but I want to write it again. Great service, super-clean, open until 11PM. Joanne is a great manager and she has helped me several times with my laundry. The only place I know that takes credit and debit cards. Plus, the driers are very powerful and work wonders with jeans and corduroy.

Came in this morning to do laundry didn’t know what to expect but I can’t say this it exceeded my expectations to place was clean. The staff was friendly and everything was in good working order I highly recommend.

Yo, let me put you onto this real Oakland gem! Bruh, my co-living complex dryers been acting all wonky lately, but then I discovered this spot - straight up, what a relief! So many machines working like a charm. And guess what? I ran into the legendary Joanne, and she was hella helpful, man!

The wash cost me $9.25 and took about 25 minutes, but the dry only set me back $1.25 for a cool 30 minutes, and I split it into two loads. They take credit cards for the machines and got a soap dispenser that's all about quarters, and they even got a change machine on deck. Plus, they stay open (last load call @ 9: 30 pm, and making it even more clutch!

I'm truly grateful for Joanne and this spot, man. It's been a total lifesaver, no cap! If you're in Oakland and need your laundry game on point, this place is the real deal!

I’ve been coming to this wash house since I was little, I was happy to hear it reopened! Been coming back ever since, So happy to have met Joanne, she’s the coolest person to talk to, very helpful and kind:) Definitely recommend doing your laundry here!

Clean, takes cards, equipment works well, staff is friendly. This is the only laundromat I'll go to.

First time I came I met Joanne. Very nice and made me feel welcomed. The place is really clean and the machines work as to other places I've been to. I highly recommend this laundromat and especially love it because I can use my Credit card!

I am so grateful for the service provided by Foothill Wash House. I am disabled and require assistance to get my laundry done. Joanne is kind enough to come and pick up my laundry and deliver it to me once it's completed. Without her help I wouldn't have clean clothes. Machines in my apt building aren’t the best. Really thankful for this laundry mat. One of the best in the area. Joan is a great manager. Love the plants. She takes pride in her job. Well stocked, Clean & reliable machines. She’s consistent & has a great personality always love chatting with her.

Great people! Excellent washing, drying and folding service. Foothill also offers a pick up and drop off service, which has been extremely helpful.

The cost to wash and dry is misleading. The price on the machines is only for quarters. If you pay with card, they’ll charge you $0.25 more, but they don’t list that information anywhere in the building nor do the card readers let you know. When I brought it to the attention of the owner, she offered to pay for my dryer, which was nice.
