LOVE this place. Great seating, inside and out. Has very nice cozy, home vibes while having spectacular food. Got the salmon bowl which was very filling and made me feel better about myself cause it seems healthy. They have a lot of hot foods on display but also make-to-order options. The people there are all really kind, too. A few parking spots out in front, but also plenty of street parking available.

Had takout dinner, ordered salmon bowl, grilled chicken plate, and 3 sides. What a wonderful surprise, everything is tasty, especially the sides, which are all delicious. The couscous, broccoli, beets, Brussels sprouts. Can't wait to order again.

I typically have always like everything I’ve order at Forage but this last go around my meal was abysmal. I called in my lunch order and when I got home the focaccia in w/mozzarella and tomato sandwich was so soggy I had to discard the bread.

My salmon tacos (3 to an order) together must have easily weighed a pound or more. The salmon pieces in each taco were in strips still attached to the skin which I had to separate from the meat. They used two corn tacos for each and they tasted like they were right out of a package and unheated.

Lastly when I called to let them know what I’ve outlined here I was told that the manager would give me a call. That never happened.

Simple but healthy menu. Not cheap but completely worthed. Their food is healthy and veeeryyy delicious

A go to favorite! A lot of healthy options, feels homemade with love. Not that cheap but what on this street is? Worth it for the flavor and the hefty portions in the to go boxes. I have enough for two more meals! Plus, there’s not a lot of deli style places where you can actually get something that just came out of the oven (in the middle of the day). Granted you can probably make most of the dishes at home, but excellent for an on the go meal nonetheless.

Forage has been in Silver Lake for a few years and nothing on the menu seems to be refreshed. On average you'll spend 15 to $20 for a regular plate of food nothing special about it. You can make the same food at home for a quarter of the price. For example you'll get a rotisserie leg and thigh and a vegetable and that's about it nothing out of the ordinary unfortunately. The locals don't really eat here as it's mainly tourist and they cater to over priced items across the menu.

All around good food/huge portions. My only 2 -'s. My Dad is from Landau (100% Bayern durch und durch) 1. Obatzda needed to be creamier (was somewhat clumpy, no bite and a tad too much Paprika) 2. Need more traditional desserts real Käsekuchen and Apfel Strudel would be awesome. WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Just wanted to get a healthy meal for my mom after Covid-19 vaccination today. Just dropped by for pick up.
OMG! The veggie sandwich was delicious. The foccacio bread so fresh. Veggies were seasoned and cooked to perfection.

DESSERT/TREAT.
The chocolate chip cookie was soft and crunchy. The taste got me hooked.

Service was good but not a place to have small talk with employees.

Parking was plenty.

Perfect meal. This place is the real deal. Great staff and the food was delicious. Will be returning.

Just a week ago, my sister and I met each other in this wonderful Italian restaurant. We were both happy with the foods, drinks, especially the place. We like their staves because they were so accommodating and courteous. The service was so fast, and we thanked them for that. Thanks to them! Strongly recommended!

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we visited this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely time there with high-qulity meal and a well-trained team and a distinguished cuisine. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall definitely go again soon. Incredibly delicious and fresh! It all looked so good and we had trouble choosing so we ended up sharing a bunch of sides and one order of the hanger steak. The guy who took our order was kind and funny. The gal who took our payment was professional and friendly. We just found this place on a fluke but will make a trip back for more.

I had the salmon plate. The following were served on a bed of brown rice in a generous bowl; blanched kale, pickled radishes, ribbons of scrambled egg, and a very tasty piece of slightly overcooked salmon.
