Forest Avenue Apartments reviews
4 I lived at Forest Ave apartments for 3.5 years and loved everything about it, which includes:
1. Location, right on the walking path to the park or shopping
2. Amenities, beautiful facilities, pool, hot tub, sauna, workout room, barbeque areas, tennis courts, open space behind. Not too unusual to see deer or turkeys in the common area.
3. The community builders did lots of fun activities that where fun for all ages. There is a diverse age range from serious students to young families to retirees.
4. Wednesday mornings breakfasts were my favorite.and if you have time linger its a great time to visit with your neighbors.
5. The apartments themselves and the grounds are excellently maintained.
6. Derrick and Brenda do a great job of managing the complex. Rules are for everyone's protection. They are enforced in a nice way.no heavy handedness, but for the good of all. They also do a great job of attracting the right type of renter. Thank you Derrick and Brenda for making my stay so enjoyable.
This place is very quiet and has a wonderful community. There's an awesome clubhouse where you can rent movies. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer [my wife says it's a little small]. Overall, this place is a great place to call home.: •]
I would not recommend! They have a scam going they evict at least 5 apartments at the same time to keep the security deposit.even when the apartment is clean and throughly cleaned.we have photos proving the apartment was cleaner then when we moved in and they still kept $1,000. They take advantage of college students! I would not rent from anything managed or owned by Hignell Company!
Two stars for the landscaping, pool, and spa. The apartments are over 30 years old with no kitchen/bathroom updates, yet they charge premium prices. Forget about getting your security deposit back! I was there for 9 months and never put a hole in the wall and cleaned the apartment thoroughly but was charged $700 for repetitive cleaning, you can't clean the years off those antiquated and leaky apartments!
