Forest House Lodge, Foresthill CA

It is a cool old hotel, but even with the historical charm, it could use some updates/repairs. The toilet in our "shared" bathroom (not a fan) leaked. There was NO HOT WATER FOR SHOWERING! That is unforgivable! For $140 a night, I would expect at least hot water. Would not recommend unfortunately.

As DJ Rockalot I always look forward to weddings here. Nice facilities with expertly led staff.

Where do I even start? We had the best, most fun and beautiful wedding at the Forest House Lodge. Our wedding coordinator was Chenoa and she was truly a lifesaver and an amazing teammate in planning and executing our wedding. We had a couple extra special touches we wanted at our wedding and Chenoa was there every step of the way putting us at ease, fighting our battles, and doing whatever she could to make the day absolutely perfect for us.
The staff at the FHL is also truly wonderful. As the bride, they made me feel like everything was handled and I had zero worries on the big day. They also provided us with amazing service and extra special touches and surprises we weren’t expecting throughout. They really know how to put on a wedding, and they really know what the happy couple needs. The drinks were great, the food was top-notch, and everyone agreed that this wasn’t your typical wedding fare and many people told us how great the food was. The day after we were still reeling from how smoothly everything went and how truly perfect our big day was.
Finally, the venue. The ceremony site is breathtaking. The patio for cocktail hour is beautiful. The reception area is amazing and a great place to keep the party flowing nicely all evening. The “playroom” for the afterparty is so fun and has something for everyone. The rooms offered are just what your guests need after a night of partying, and breakfast the next day? Just want you need after all that booze. If you want a beautiful wedding and the greatest party of your life, the FHL is your place.

Forest House Lodge is a rustic and romantic location. A great backdrop for a wedding or even a beautiful get away. The staff is quite friendly and helpful.

20 years ago I spent a winter in Foresthill sobering up between construction jobs - I found myself the bartender here. Good times: Forest, bartending the Forest house in Foresthill. One day, in walks an old neighbor from junior high school - we grew up about three hours away and no idea what either of us was doing there. This triangle of Foresthill has always been my favorite-grandma took us as kids to the laundry mat down the road.

Stayed here for our niece's wedding and had a great time! Food was good, staff was great, and downstairs was SO COOL!

Sore, exaghsted, but still smiling. One stop shop when it comes to weddings. Very straight forward and over the moon with customer service. We had a % Vegan event and they came through. So delicious. My quest were amazed. Definitely a level above. The ceremony site (1.4 miles east) and it was. Priceless.

FHL was incredible! I saw a photo from a wedding there 5 years ago and knew that was the place I wanted to get married. It is so so so so beautiful. It is a well oiled machine. They help out in every way and make your day perfect. Shaye was great to work with! The food was fantastic. The venue was so much fun. We took advantage of it all going to bed close to 430am. I would easily do it all over again. You will not regret getting married here.

Our son is getting married here in February 2023, but, we got to spend an evening here for the tasting event that precedes the wedding. The wedding is going to be fantastic! There are many rooms in this building, not just rooms to sleep in but 2 different game rooms. One has ping-pong, pool table, Foosball and shuffleboard, it's big. The other has blackjack table as well as craps. There is the "disco" room, a fireplace room, a pub room, huge dining and reception area, outside areas, it's amazing. Individually themed bedrooms. Just so much here.

Went there Saturday August 20th for one of my good friends wedding. It was a really nice venue and it's very private and the whole venue is used for the reception and the ceremony. Once you decide this place everything is basically included including breakfast. Even though it's a very beautiful place I do wish that the area was a little bit bigger and I wish they had the AC on or something like that because it felt very musty during the dancing and everybody drinking. However it was a fun night and I'm so happy that the bride and groom enjoyed it.

This is an amazing wedding venue! Did not disappoint at all. Staff was great, and food was great as well. Most weddings are remembered by the food and this was very good.

I attended for a wedding. Staff and service was excellent and efficient. Decor was a mix of fresh modern and old classic. Fodd tasted great. It was hot outside but they had great air conditioners in every room.
