Fort Locks Self Storage, Nipomo CA

Very helpful when I had questions, the day I emptied my storage they call to make sure it was me.

Great place to store your stuff! Candy went out of her way to be helpful, including managing to secure three *adjacent* storage units for our large needs. She's very kind and also very funny! Units are behind a gate and the place is kept very clean. You can also rent U-Hauls here. Can't go wrong!

Candy at the Nipomo location is the best customer service representative I have ever encountered. I hope the company appreciates her!

I met with the manager, Candy and although it was close to closing time, she was friendly, professional, and kindly took me on a tour. She then made sure that I understood all terms clearly before signing up. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and secure.

They were great on the move in. The property is kept very clean and is gated, so I felt my belongings were safe. The gal that was in the office when I moved out was awesome, very friendly and helpful. She, at one point, walked out to my unit and questioned my husband about who he was (she didn't see me on the camera and hadn't met him) so trust me when I say your belongings are safe. I highly recommend Fort Locks Self Storage in Nipomo.

The best customer service I've ever received. They definitely value their tenants. There has been no issue that candy the manager could not resolve for me. She has been amazing.

Great Facility: very secure, but small enough to get to your unit quickly. Excellent service from the on-site staff; walked me through everything, having correctly assessed that I needed that level of hand-holding.also, the name "Fort Locks"? 10/10 joak

Everything went pretty smooth, everyone here is very nice. They check all unit locks closely and will call you if it wasnt locked properly. Only issue was the rate kept going up after a few years. Would consider using them again if we still needed a storage unit.

I rented a garage space for 3 months and I had no problems. They even called me at home to let me know my lock was not secured properly. Very secure property.

Not real happy with this place it cost me almost $3,000 in the last couple of weeks they take people that are down on their luck and pray on them and get money out of them because they know they have no choice late fees that are outrageous when you down on your luck this place just makes it harder on you! But I will say that the store manager in Nipomo California "Candy" is the best she is a sweetheart and if it's within her power she will help you! She is good people!

Candy was super helpful and informative. I absolutely appreciated her customer service. The storage was clean and easily accessible.

Was met with really rude service by “one of the managers”. When I asked him if this (pointing to it) was a card with his name on it, he responded “that’s a card. ” 10/10 nice dude.
Update: we had to come back to get our things. We were met with foreign lock on our unit: luckily Brian was there to rudely explain it was “in case we dip out. ” He didn’t say anything when we came in to make payment, and then proceeded to TALK TO MY MOVING COMPANY about how much he didn’t like us (the people who pay his paycheck) … to say I am appalled is an understatement. I have never dealt with worse customer service anywhere but here, and haven’t seen a company representative more out of place than Brian at the Nipomo Fort Locks. What a nightmare.
