Fountain Valley Auto Wash

If you want to wait long time go here. Not because it's busy. That can be the case but being understaffed. The machine didn't work at the time and the workers were on the 'other side'.
So the cars were sitting waiting for someone to wash them. I asked what appeared to be the owner. Because i asked the cashier (owner) whats wrong w equipment and where is the staff.said when he bought the business, they never fixed the equipment. Huh. Fixed it and you'll 10x this operation. I'm not coming back. Don't want to stare at my car for 20 mins before it gets washed.

7/2/2023 updated review. Just got an express wax this morning. Lots of changes at this location. Fortunately they're still doing the same great work on my vehicle.

$75 for an EXPRESS WAX off the track wash. (I prefer a 100% hand wash)

I always wash my car here for years. Love this place, people so nice and working hard. Highly recommend, have plenty of room for you to sit and wait while your car have been wash, beautiful flowers around

Great place to get your car looking fly. They really put work into your car as if it was theirs. Staff is always friendly and the prices aren’t bad. I won’t go anywhere else to get my vehicle cleaned up. I recommend giving this place a shot.

Beware of Tesla Scam!
They have the guts to charge extra for Tesla vehicles and didn’t even think it through.
We asked them for the reason, first they said they have to hand wash (meanwhile all the cars are being hand washed bc the machine is broken) then they said they have to use different cleaning products - lol (liars & idiots!) it’s an electric car and not make out of electricity. We laughed so hard. They ended up, gave us back the extra charge. Never coming back here again.

Worst car wash I’ve ever gotten!
Came to this place because it had fairly good reviews. But they went to town on my car with a dirty brush more like a freaking push broom! They left SCRATCHES EVERYWHERE on my car! Do yourself a favor and don’t pay these guys to ruin you car.

Very nice employees and reasonable prices, but the disappointment came on my last visit a few weeks ago when the owner or management revealed that there will be no more hand wash and a new automated system is already in place just waiting for final inspection or approval to get going. Not sure how this new system will compare to the hand wash. Also, since the old system was already gone, they used a big push broom to wash my car and I noticed scratches on my paint after that. Probably better to wait for the new system to be implemented. This is a bummer because I could have gotten my car washed at closer places, but chose this place because it was a hand wash. Now I guess it will be just the same as the rest of the car washes out there. Goodbye to another good thing of the past!

On another note, the owner has improved the aesthetic atmosphere quite a bit over the last 7 or 8 years, putting in plants and chairs and tables to make the wait more comfortable and tolerable, which I find very commendable.
