Four Paws Veterinary Center, Dublin CA

I took my animals to Four Paws for 8 years and realized how lucky I was when we moved away recently and had to find another Vet. They always took excellent care of my two dogs (a beagle mix and italian greyhound). They even were willing to help me with a prescription a few months after I had moved for a chronic problem my one pup has. Bottom line is they truly are about your animals. I promise you, you can't go wrong putting your furry friends under their care.

Seems to me if your pet is “so sick”, you arrive to your appointment on time. The nurses and vets at Four Paws have always taken the best care of my little potato. In the waiting area, I’ve witnessed the absurd rudeness of certain clients to the front of house staff. Reception handles all interactions professionally and as appropriate.

Vets are really good but the front desk is kind of rude and has so much attitude. I called them a month back to schedule an appointment but on the day of appointment I was late by 5-10 mins and they cancelled my appointment. Since that day I have been calling and trying to get added to cancellation list every day morning but haven’t got call back yet. And I have been explaining my dog's issue every day and they were like, you should have known, and kind of putting the blame on me when I called the vet to get help! Very unprofessional!

The kindest vet I’ve visited! They actually give you options when the situation is a tough one. I have brought three of my dogs here at all stages of life.

The male vet in this clinic is not competent to treat my sick dog. He missed the treatable medical condition in my dog, and he recommended and wanted to end my dog’s life for his wrong diagnosis. It is a kind of “murder” to my beloved dog. I had to bring my dog to ED and another vet after he called me when I was driving home and he said my dog had leukemia because her white blood cell count very high and no treatment available except giving her euthanasia. I was concerned about the infection as the cause, but he disregarded my concern and just hung up the phone. I got home and called the clinic for full lab report review, and then did online literature research which supported my concerns of infection. So I called the clinic again and wanted to get the second opinion from female vet in this clinic. Unfortunately, none of them called me back that day. The staff who answered my call was rude and no mercy at all. I had to bring my dog to emergency room that day for the treatment of bacterial infection. My dog eventually recovers from this critical infection. I don’t recommend this vet and this place. Because google doesn’t allow to publish the review without clicking one star. In Fact, this vet and this place does NOT deserve any star at all!

I have always had great experiences with both the husband and wife team of vets who run this office. This last time I encountered a substitute veterinarian and he was very nice and helpful. I am not surprised they would select someone like him to watch over things in their absence. He suggested something totally new for my dogs pain and I am so excited to see if it brings her some relief. I am optimistic and hopeful and trusted his wisdom.

On another note, the vet techs and front desk staff are THE BEST! Not only did they help me as professionals and made my experience positive from start to finish.but at the end of my visit I accidentally locked my very elderly dog in my friends car that I am unfamiliar with so it was a shock and I panicked. Every single employee was off the clock and I know how it is after a long day, you just want to go home. But not even one of them left me! They ALL stayed and assisted me! One of them let me use her cell to call my friend who didn’t have an extra key. So then they called the fire department who got there is minutes and we’re successful at getting my beloved dog out of the car. I can’t ever thank them enough! Once the car was open, they brought my dog water in a bowl as it was a bit of a warmer day and she was thankfully not over heating but they did it to be thoughtful and it was so appreciated. I have been in this same industry for over 17 years and I know the love for animals. They showed their love and also consideration for me as a dog mom and I owe them all such gratitude! So not only are the vets here amazing, so are the staff. I highly recommend this place to all of my many customers and because I am in the industry this means countless dog parents.
