I can't say I was very impressed by the Four Points by Sheraton. To begin, the premises were not very clean. The halls and the room looked their age and then some. I was also surprised to find that a trolley runs right by the front door and makes loud bell rings, even late at night or early in the morning. It seems it'd be fair to tell people about this noise before they book. What irked me the most was the lack of a complimentary breakfast, especially for the price I paid. The website lists breakfast as an amenity, but it just means you can buy some from the restaurant at the lobby. If you like spending $25 for a plate of eggs, sausage, and hash browns.

Fine stay, nothing special. Good location to walk places. So hear the planes early in the morning. Hotel itself was a little tired/ old looking.

It was not very clean and the carpets were stained. Plus right next to the street car stop so it was loud. But the staff was friendly and helpful.

Horrible! We stayed 2 nights at $129. A night and the total for the stay was 429. Cause of tax and parking. They put a Hold of $487.when we got there, and charged the $429. Separate when we left, which put a total of over $900. On hold off my card without saying that! They could have just released the balance but they double dip my bank! I hate companies like this, no breakfast, nothing! Place is a bad joke! I would never recommend them!

There's an extra 35 dollars added for parking Surprise!
There is nothing special that would lead me to recommend the hotel.

No. My husband spent Sunday night (5 hrs) here after a concert in the civic center. Paid $35 for parking (for what? !) and someone smashed the rear window and stole a backpack with emergency supplies. Just no. Backpack wasn’t even visible. We’ll be avoiding this hotel and San Jose.

Good location if you are here for a convention. Very run down and dingy. Outdated and worn out furniture and, while the room was clean overall, everything has major signs of wear and tear. Not worth the $375 per night cost.

I was originally giving them a three-star review but when I got out of the shower and there were no regular sized towels, I decided to go with the one star review.

An extremely disappointing experience for a titanium elite member who's used to an amazing Marriott experience. My disappointing experience began with receiving a call prior to even arriving telling me that they needed to swap out my credit cards but they were new and didn't know how to do so. When I did show up they did not offer me any points or amenities as part of my loyalty program. When I called later they confirm there was nothing added. I also asked for water while checking in and they told me they don't have it and then later said oh I'll give you some of the employee only water. Again, nothing I've ever experienced in my 6 years of spending multiple months a year with Marriott.

Furthermore, the room is very disappointing knowing there was so many available upgrades and I did not receive one. Finally getting out of the shower and finding only tiny towels. Really put the icing on the cake.

Also things to note The hotel is surrounded by nightclubs and often has one in its own bar and restaurant downstairs. They're usually is going to be loud music until 2: 00 a.m.

Great location close to SJSU, got a great AAA rate, clean, cozy room, bed & nice shower/bath. The bar was good & the hotel personal were super friendly & helpful! We will be back!

The room is very clean and well stocked. The bath towels are of medium plushness and the toilet paper is cheap. The bed is quite comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. The room is much smaller than it appeared in the internet photos. Overall it's a good hotel, but I think the price is a little high compared to rooms that were larger nearby of the same quality. The area is great. I will be back, but I'm likely to try a different Hotel.

This place is in dire need of a renovation.

It’s fine when you get it cheap, as it’s right downtown, but you’re getting what you pay for.

Carpet looked dirty, hall carpet is coming up, in REAL need of replacement. While checking the mattress for bed bugs I found a large blood stain on the side of the mattress along with a stain and tear on the bed sheet, they don't even use fitted sheets. Called downstairs and was offered a smaller room same price, opted to just get clean sheets. Left for several hours and came back to find the sheets on top of the bed for me to do it myself, why did housekeeping not do it? Listed as a 3 STAR but it is really a 2 STAR

My favorite place to stay when I come town. Check in is always super easy and concierge staff is polite friendly and personable. Each individual provides service unique to the stay and I always love connecting with the front desk. Everyone experienced hardships during the pandemic and this location worked through it with patience and a smile on their face. They continue to reintroduce their previous offerings as they become available. The property is quiet and the courtyard is intimate. Having the Mosaic in the lobby week nights and Saturday’s is a plus for on site dining and beverages. I’ve loved every stay!

This hotel is definitely dated. However great location next to convention center. The light rail train station out front made it easy to get around.there is a older Hispanic man at the front desk in the afternoon/evening who was very welcoming. He even noticed my fresh haircut. This hotel is located close to a few eateries and a Starbucks that's just a half block away. Their continental breakfast is also subpar, don't come expecting pancakes and waffles. Muffins, yogurt, juice cups and a Keurig for coffee or tea.

Great location, but older hotel and as with old buildings noise is amplied. Avoid rooms on the second floor above restaurant. Noise from restaurant is amplified into the rooms. On the night I was there loud DJ base vibrated my room until 1 am. My water cup actually vibrated off of my bedside table. The TV was not audable over the noise. The front desk was nice, but explained that they don't own the restaurant so they have no control over the noise. It would have been nice to have a warning from the hotel about the potential for loud noise before booking. That is what this review is for so you will not loose sleep like me.
