Long waiting times: go to the shuttle and also to the paperwork
It's been more than an hour and a half and the line isn't over yet
And now they announced that you have to wait about an hour until the car is ready.

Don’t go here if you have a wheelchair! Only 1 bus it doesn’t work they are pumping the lift by hand. Had to wait for 4 busses to go by. They let all the able bodied passengers and their luggage on before the wheelchairs. Almost 90 minutes to get to the terminal from the time we dropped the car.

I reserved a vehicle via wisecar for two weeks at 610 euros. Money I paid when I booked.
However, I was charged a second time after my trip for an additional 450 euros without any reasons or explanations! Unacceptable!

Took 20 minutes to get a fox shuttle, then a 40 minute drive to fox, which couldn't have been more than two miles from the airport. Spent an hour waiting in line and another half hour in the garage. Had not nearly enough seating for everybody, many tourists were sitting on the dirty floor in agony. Terrible experience.

Terrible experience. Pick up time was at noon. I waited over an hour in line to check in for my car reservation. After I finally got my paperwork and went to pick up the car, they told me my car wasn’t ready and I’d have to wait another 35 minutes. It’s now 2 hours since I first stepped in the building. What’s the point of a reservation if your car is not ready by the time you get there? Never renting from here again, I prefer Enterprise over this place.

Waited at least 20 minutes for a single shuttle while at least 5 of every other rental agency breezed by. Waited another 20-30 minutes at the counter for others ahead. Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for a suitable vehicle to be ready including them trying to force an economy car on me after paying for an intermediate. Likely would've been waiting longer if I didn't start raising issues as two people who checked in after me were given suitable vehicles before me. Abysmal is an understatement.

Very much you get what you pay for. Genuinely terrible experience that only perk is being half priced reputable rental agencies. If you don't mind starting your vacation with 2+ hours waiting on a rental, perhaps worth using Fox.

Terrible service. The employee forced me to take out basic insurance for $25, even against my will. She said it was mandatory. Then I still had to wait 1 hour for my car. They offered me another model, but I would have to pay extra, even though they didn't have the model in my category available. When I returned the car, the same employee (who is from Ethiopia) who forced me to take out the insurance, told me that she had not done so, but that it was recommended. Her lie! She only said that because I asked another employee if insurance is mandatory and he said no. In other words, she just wanted to earn a commission. Terrible service, I don't recommend it to anyone.

LAX location. When I went to pick up the car, the sales agent was friendly at first until I refused his aggressive up selling. He wanted me to upgrade to a minivan and prepay for FastTak despite me clearly telling him clearly I did not need either of these things. I did agree to a hefty insurance fee as apparently California state law requires this and it’s not included in the price you pay when booking online. A couple of days after dropping the car back to Fox we discovered he’d added road side assistance to my bill without my knowledge. I’ve spoken to customer services several times but they are refusing to issue me with a refund as I signed for the car upon pick up and apparently this is their “proof” I agreed to the $150 road side assistance cover.

It's one of the worst services I've received so far when it comes to car rentals!

Please never never rent here. The lines are long, they are short staffed, and then you wait up until an hour to get the car. It’s the most horrendous operation I’ve ever encountered in my 30 years of car rentals. I repeat, never again! People are here after hours of travel, waiting for a rental car. It’s unacceptable.

At first glance, the car rental is more than reasonable €400 for an SUV for 10 days tops…. Arriving at the airport we are told about so-called MANDATORY insurance, the gentleman then makes us choose between three different prices, we obviously take the cheapest, I see that the gentleman is trying to convince us to take the others but he is out of it.question that already adds 650€ to us just for the insurance so we are at 1000€ per car for 10 days. And it's not over, now he's trying to sell us a pass for the toll supposedly otherwise we'll get a fine of $90. Luckily we already knew, we didn't take it and we were right, almost none highway in California is tolled. In short, avoid if you don't want to lose money. He tries to take advantage of the naivety of travelers.

FOX IS A SCAM. I made a minor mistake in my booking and called Fox only 30 minutes later on the phone to fix the issue. Agents on the phone didn't help me and their agent in LAX tried to scam me by charging almost double the market rate. I lost around $250 as a result. Never using this company again.

Well it's really really slow. But the cars and prices are great. I'll use them again and post the same thing.
