Beer Garden Franchettis' reviews
20 I had lunch there again today and it was great just like the last time.
The outdoor seating area has improved dramatically. It is now covered and protected from the elements.
There are those nice outdoor heaters for the cool days and nights.
I had the meatball sandwich (couldn’t pronounce the name on the menu) that was delicious.
I’ll be going back!
There is nothing authentic about food here.
The closest thing to German food is patato salad.
Chicken schnitzel my daughter ordered arrived black and that after waiter apologized that her food would be late since they redoing it.
They did no such thing. Only delivered it blackened with a minute of delay
My Wiener schnitzel had nothing in common with veal based meal of that name. Do not make this mistake.
Fries where good.
Only place in Bay Are where they charge you $2 for tap water.
I would suggest to avoid it.
Hidden gem-Tucked behind a busy street. This restaurant is perfect for breakfast or brunch.
I ordered - Bauernfrühstück Or call it a Hash fingerling and sweet potatoes, roasted carrots, bell peppers, sweet roasted onions, mushrooms and Spinach, one egg sunny side up! ADD corned beef, chicken, bacon, mozzarella $1each.
I have to admit that the food was plated well and it was delicious. It had a little bit of everything with every bite.
Great place for going solo or with your crew.
Great atmosphere and amazing food. Hubby and I had the mushroom pizza and a sausage plate. Everything was super delicious! And our server was the best! She was friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu. Would recommend!
A delicious and carefully prepared meal. Having been to Germany a few times and enjoyed authentic meals, this didn’t disappoint!
Delicious Authentic German Food!
You won't leave hungry! Great service and friendly atmosphere!
We thought about trying this restaurant today.we walked in and asked to see a menu to see if we wanted to eat there and a woman (hostess?) explained to me that menus were on the table, i said i wasn't sure if i was staying and wanted to see the menu first, to see if they had some german dishes we love.well.she DID NOT like that, basically tossed the paper menu at me and walked away
the menu looked yummy, but we decided not to stay because of her attitude.
It was good, the chicken snitzle was a little dry but with gravy it was all good. We sat on the patio which was nice, even though the view is of the parking lot. Over all it was a good night at a nice restaurant. 9/10 would recomend.
[2019-early 2020] I loved this place when we had dinner there a few years ago, but at some point the menu must have changed. When we ate there last, most dinner selections featured pork, beef, and cheese - dishes that appeared far more suitable for harsh German winters than Santa Rosa's temperate to scorching climate. The restaurant was crowded and was a bit more formal when we tried to eat a summer salad there - the ONLY thing either one of us could eat at that point.
[4 years ago] Excellent food! Friendly staff and great service! Happy, relaxed family atmosphere! Definitely going back!
This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly!
The arancini is addictingly delicious. The beef Rouladen was tender and came with perfectly seasoned and crisp kartoffelpuffer (German potato pancake) and braised, purple not very sour kraut. The gravy on the beef was tasty. My fiancee ordered a schnitzel burger (pretzel crusted pork loin) with jalapeno, cilantro and red cabbage slaw on a homemade ciabatta bun. I also tried their mushroom gravy to dip things in. It was thin, but had a great flavor and larges pieces of mushroom in it. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it.
Will definitely be frequenting this place.
This place has the best food ever. My family and I came one night just trying to find something new to try. We have continue to come back!
Had a piano salad which did not have enough dressing to my liking. I asked for balsamic vinaigrette. Got it and was charged $2.00….
Authentic German cuisine. Loved the brauts (many to choose from) and the potato salad was the best. Mixed with pickles, sauerkraut and was served warm as in Germany. Pork snitzel was tender and Spetzla was cooked just right! Will return.
Terrible German food. Not even close to real German food. I lived in Germany and know real German food. It was absolutely the worst schnitzel and spatzle I have ever eaten. If you want authentic German food this is not the place to go.
The server was.extremely nice and helpful. I have nothing but kudos for her.
Best of two delicious worlds in one restaurant. The warm pretzel and fixings is a childhood favorite with memories of the East Coast. German meatloaf sandwich and potato salad. Wunderbar! Pizzas are Molto Bene! Try the Vienna coffee too! Friendly service and owners with great food.
Solid food, great service. The woman who took my order was so nice and super accommodating. Super gluten-free friendly and it’s good! Only drawback was my chicken and slaw sandwich didn’t have much gf side options. My hubs rated it as one of the best gf pizzas we’ve had to date. I’m so glad we tried it and I would happily go back.
Quite lovely and tucked into a business park. Good food and atmosphere. The chicken is out of this world- which might be a weird thing to say about chicken but it's true. I'm a little embarrassed it took me this long to get out there.
Big portions, friendly service, wide range of menu items. Plenty of convenient free parking. Italian and German - the pasta is the better choice.
I made reservations for my mother's 88th birthday brunch. The staff had not only decorated the table but each one of them signed a card for her. Every one directly serving our table or not wished her a happy birthday. We had the BEST time! Thank you so much.
Tomatoes in the $14 salad T-I-R-E-D, my punishment for eating vegetarian…no I didn’t want the bacon either. Otherwise, lovely patio & well-curated wines by the glass.
