Francis house was amazing. They had an all in one health event today. I was able to see a Dr, dentist, and get tested for stds all for free. They also have free bus passes and clothing along with a coffee station. The entire experience was positive. They didn't have my size on clothing so the clothing manager said he'd place an order in my size with goodwill and salvation army which I can pick up next month. They are a truly helpful organization.
Today my whole family got the covid shots no pain fast and all the people were really nice. Thank God
The people here were really helpful they helped me get a form to get my ID for free which was really cool they were very informative and made everything very easy to understand
Sweetness. I jus got a Voucher for da DMV.
I wuz told to visit a DMV with dis paper I got called a Voucher & also take a confirmation code I get online @ dmv.ca.gov.
Look fo da (California I. D Application/Form), den take em both with u to da DMV.
My I. D is only gonna cost $8. Instead of $35.
Dis places does a lot, I've read. Well, they have many other stuff like recourses fo low income, homeless, housing, free legal help, work opportunities fo ex- Felons fo example, well, like I said, "I've read online" one of their sections called "Street Sheet", & it wuz very interesting.
Oh. Plus, what I also found here, like 2 months ago, sumething called a Methadone Clinic & it literally saved my life. I kid u not. I didn't even know such a place existed. Thank God fo dis place.
Even doe da guy at da front door wuz rude, LOL. I gotta lot outta dis place.
Thankfully this homeless resource had been nearly always able to help me even during this Covid chrisis and the staff has been pleasant and informative about services I had not better aware of.
This is à greàt non profit wày to get your I'd renewal form referred to you. And I got a bus pass too!
What happened to this place? Maybe five years ago I used to come here for the friendly services. Today when I came I was met at the door by a very unfriendly African American man who offered no information or assistance. I hope he doesn't represent the new image of Francis House! Come on Francis House. You can do better than a low life at the front door.
Clothing closet, gas vouchers, I'd voucher, birth certificate voucher, hygiene packs, job assistance great resources
