Frankie and Lola's Front Street Cafe reviews
23I love this place. Very tasty food. Creative ingredients! I had the zucchini potato pancake and added 2 eggs on top for breakfast. The coffee was strong, flavorful and good. The staff, always attentive and smiling! In fact, I'm going back again today!
Finally! Someone knows how to prepare eggs over medium. Hallelujah. I'll be back for that alone.
Will not, however, order the iron skillet potatoes ever again. Good idea, failed execution. Way overcooked, too much mystery seasoning, and very dry. I don't mind if you don't peel your potatoes, just don't ruin them.
The English muffin was apparently grilled not toasted and I asked for butter and strawberry jam on the side. Delectable!
I asked other diners their opinion and found out the pancakes were superb, comes as a huge portion (you might want to share). And the lox/cream cheese sandwich was a hit. Didn't see it on the menu so it might have been a special.
Cozy, colorful restaurant with eclectic decor.
Service was terrific and the prices were reasonable.
Plenty of free parking right out front. Decent view of Morro Rock and the water.
Best breakfast on the Central coast, and the best pancakes in California! Our server Kathy is wonderful. Loved the coffee too! Do not miss this place when you're in Morro Bay!
Our go to breakfast place in Morro Bay. The staff is great, the decor is great and the food is awesome. I love the Leroy Brown! I actually haven't gotten any desert as I am always stuffed after food, but I hear it's really good.
Tiny little gem just off the Embarcadero. The food is so good. The menu is creative. The staff is outstanding. The view is Morro Rock. Locals happily stand in line to get one of the very few tables. When we said we would take an outside table we were offered blankets! Just go.
Every time I come through Morro Bay, this is a stop no matter what! A fun menu, friendly staff, and delicious food. Need more convincing? Just check out the view from the door steps after dining.
This is the Ruben. It was good size very tender, I liked it but other than a burger there was not much more choice for myself personally. I was very good. They also have a few vegan options as well
Good location, generous portions. Nothing was spectacular but it was a good place for a hearty brunch.
Place was very nice. A little busy and the staff was a little short, but overall a good experience with great food.
Extremely helpful staff. Meals are big and cheap. As a tourist I found I would want to pay more tips mainly because of the service I have got compared to lots of other places, asking for tipping but very limited service from the staff.
Food was good as I had the nom nom breakfast dish and trust me you do get a lot of food for your money
Delicious food the veggie scramble and classic breakfast. Veggie has a chilli taste makes it unique.
Food is fairly standard diner quality, service was slow for a weekend tourist area at lunch time.
I ihave to say. Anniversary for me and the other half. Got 2 separate breakfast plates and of all things on the plate the oranges were simply amazing.
The best breakfast in a town that doesn't have much going for it culinarily speaking. Decent coffee and good veggie options. Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are fair.
4 stars for friendly staff, cozy environment and great coffee. The food on the other hand. Ordered Chilaquiles and were disappointing. Breakfast burrito was bland. Only best choice was my sons with sunnyside up eggs. Pancakes are huge and ok.
The food is quite good as well as the service. It gets a bit busy so be prepared for a 20ish minute wait. Also, sit outside at your own risk, my wife and I got pooped on by a local bird.
I wanna go here everyday! Great menu, fresh food, everyone is friendly. Can't wait to try their dinner menu.
The eggs Benedict and fried green tomatoes are pretty much the best breakfast meals I've ever had!
Good egg scrambles and potatoes. They have big pancakes. The place is small there is only one server. Great for bfast. Big enough portions. One drawback, they won't serve you if you eat alone. They have a two people minimum polizy.
