Freebirds World Burrito reviews
18Pretty decent burrito place, there are quite a lot of options to mix and match to make your burrito or bowl diverse. Lit atmosphere with outside sitting option.
Would give 1 if I could. Don't waste your money here. We ordered a "Monster" burrito, which was about $14, and it was about 4 inches long. When I called Freebirds about it the manager claimed she made it and that there were 3 scoops of chicken on it. In the picture you can clearly see the burrito is mainly tortilla and cheese. And at the end of our conversation the manager just hung up on me. Customer service is awful and the food is mediocre. I don't really like Chipotle, but go there instead of here.
Got a to go order through Uber eats. Burrito bowl ended up being cold. Not even Luke warm. Got quesadillas too. The tortillas were not even cooked. Not even a sign that they were warned. Distance was not the issue. Need more QA on the food before it goes out.
Food was old and had obviously been sitting out for awhile. Steak was extremely salty and made my mouth feel the like snail on the movie A Bug’s Life. Staff acted like they didn’t want to be there and that we were a disservice to them. We were not greeted when we walked in the door and the staff had looks of being put out on their faces. When we were leaving we told them thank you and have a nice day and the staff just looked at us and didn’t smile wave or say a single word to us. Definitely a sub par experience and we will not be back to this location. It was my fiancés first time trying FreeBirds and I was disappointed that this is the service we received.
Had a Togo packed from this place. All veggie burrito bowl. Food tasted good and crispy potatoes were just awesome. Portion size could had been a lil more else taste packaging everything was awesome.
Really unhappy with this place. I ordered - bowl on 7/16. When I received it, the meat was very clearly undercooked. Many pieces were completely red and looked like they hadn’t touched the grill at all. The picture below is after I put it in the microwave for 3 minutes, wanting to cook the meat more, before ultimately deciding that I didn’t feel comfortable eating it and just threw the whole bowl away. I called to ask for a refund. The manager “Brittany” immediately got defensive and stated she cooked the meat so she knew it was fine because she cooks it to medium. I offered to send her the pictures. At that point she agreed to refund the meal. I confirmed twice that she was refunding it and she said she yes both times. I waited a week and still hadn’t received a refund. I decided to call back to check on it. I spoke with a manager named Alejandro who was very polite and professional. My negative review is in no way a reflection on him. He confirmed that no refund had been issued but he was going to do it himself. I am incredibly upset that Brittany not only served me undercooked food, she then LIED about issuing a refund.
Havent been to this location in a while but i stopped in on my lunch break. Staff was super friendly. Answered all my questions. Food was excellent as always. Need to come more often!
I order online all the time, and it's absolutely delicious. Super fresh, great guacamole, and pretty good portion sizes for a reasonable price. Easily one of my favorite places to eat
The Employee that helped me, I think her name was Jana or Jenna was sooo helpful. It was my first time eating here and she was able to explain thier menu so well and with patience. Wonderful customer service and thier food isn't bad either. I had the veggie guacamole and with the habernero sauce, it was amazing. 5 stars would come back
Delicious burritos. I’ve enjoyed Freebirds since 1992, but with a gap from 1996-2019 while I lived over a thousand miles away from the closest outlet. Generally, the portions are solid (I typically get a half bird) and the ingredients taste fresh. Top it off with creamy jalapeño or habanero sauce (or both, as I do!) for some zing. I usually get seasoned chicken, but the steak and brisket are also delightful; I can’t speak to the other options.
This place keeps missing my orders for multiple times through last 6 months. Today, I ordered a bawl with side tortillas. They missed my side tortillas obviously. They have missed a side tortillas on my order before. They have missed ingredients, side source, extra salsa, and so on. I don’t think the staffs are not paying attention at all. FYI, there is no one in the restaurant when I picked up my order today. Do not order anything from this restaurant, for you will not get all you paid for.
God forbid I mention Chipotle here. Larger young woman who worked in the morning was not easy to communicate with.
I simply asked if they had hot sauce bottles out for guests, like Chipotle, and she made a snarky comment about not comparing them to Chipotle. They even said they were behind that morning. Also when she did give me hot sauce, like I asked, she gave me a small amount. Wish I could remember her name but she wasn't good.
I've long been a guest at Freebirds, heck, I wish they had started their loyalty program back when there were only 4 -5 in the whole state. This location is spot on- in service, in food cleanliness, and in preparation. As usual they stick to the things that Freebirds is renowned for, but more so they EXCEL at customer service. Brittany is AWESOME. Love her willingness to make suggestions, and even will go the extra mile to make sure what you are wanting to sample, well, actually goes together. WILL ABSOLUTELY RETURN!
Lol shredded cheese is the new shredded lettuce I guess. And roasted corn is the new pico de gallo. Do better for the next guest.
Almost always a great meal at Freebirds. The steak burrito with lime juice, paired with that special queso just hits the spot! And Brittney and her partners today were great in providing me and my dad great service. Will always try to come back whenever I'm in town! Thank y'all!
(I do miss the spinach wraps, but it isn't a deal breaker. Just don't mess with the queso anymore than you have, please.)
Great service, great food, got a free burrito for my birthday and i didn’t even know they did that!
Freebirds is a decent place to Mexican food in an affordable prices. Quality is always good and service is fast. I order a steak bowl and left very satisfied!
I got the freebirds chicken burrito with Mexican rice. The burrito was mostly poorly seasoned rice, and the chicken pieces were small. The taste wasn't amazing, but it was a decent amount of food for the price. My partner got a nachos bowl and there wasn't enough cheese on it. It was as dry as a desert.
