The worst experience in my 40 years of banking! The Manager actually yelled at me to "sit down". I wanted to stand as I just got off a plane from Asia and did not want to sit.as I told him I would stand or come with him, he turned around and screamed "SIT DOWN" (l felt like dog). This was over attempting to open a new checking account for which they told me one week later they would not open an account for me. I just opened a business account at another bank so have no idea why they turned me down. I am happy they did, as I would never bank with them now that I know how rude employees in this branch are. I would not recommend this bank or branch to anyone.

I called them so many time to close my account but they keep saying me they will today tomorrow. Matish and Ken i spoke with them to put in my all charges in my back to account they was said ok they will. Whenever i spoke to Manager he was said he can not. I am not happy this Fremont bank branch. They are not calling to back and they can not help.

I have been a customer for 30 plus years and I have received nothing less than a positive customer service. Even refinancing my home 3 times in one year as the interest rates kept falling.

Do not choose this lender especially for a new purchase home loan. As a qualified borrower, we re-fin a property in Jan, 2012, and then re-fin another property in Mar.through another lender, yet this one dramatically ruined my new purchase in Feb. 2012!

My contract shows that I have to close the escrow before Mar. 2,2012, yet Fremont Bank approved my loan on Mar. 9th- the entire process took 41 days, which made me loss the good faith funds, home inspection fee, and appraisal fee, plus a 100 hours became a waste!

Working with Fremont Bank was a nightmare, drained out your energy to everyone involved including my realtor, seller, my insurance agent. Like someone said they don't care of your deadlines; they keep requesting the same documents which had already submited for "N" times; they constantly required some unrealistic, unreasonable, and rediculous evidence, such as the UW required to activate the flood insurance immediately prior the loan approval, which against the government rule that ALL new flood policies have to wait for a 30 days period.it means NOBODY can meet her requirement at all.

In this way, they killed the transaction wasting my precious time and energy as well as putting that lovely house to a court house auction foreclosure.

My terrible experience tells that DO NOT use this inprofessional, inefficient and careless bank as your next lender. Be aware!

Customer service is negligible at best, they play games with their rates and their process is horrible. If your thinking of refinancing (and have GREAT credit) don't do it here.

Refinancing was a major headache. The underwriter asked about an address we lived in 38 years ago. Every time we sent documents, five days later the underwriter wanted something else. The process took 10 weeks. On top of that, the rate we got was higher than advertised on KCBS. I say look elsewhere.

They must've had an overhaul or something since I started my account there. We had a great experience. Colette was an angel in helping us open our small business account and we've loved the service. We started a Political Action Committee and didn't want to go to a big felon bank. We were laughed out of 5 banks before walking into Fremont Bank on a hope and a prayer and they bit the bullet for us! We're proud to have our money with a bank that truly serves the community.
