Frogtown Brewery reviews
12Boring compared to San Diego beers. Also their prices are high considering their 9 ounce glassware appears to hold only 5 ounces and their 14 ounce glassware couldn't come close to holding 14 ounces.
Love the neighbor friendly vibe and of course the good craft beer. Food truck the bonus.:)
This is my preferred neighborhood bar. The service is great, the selection is thoughtful, and it features really good indoor and outdoor spaces. You can sit and read a book or bring all your friends to hang out in the beer garden. Oh, and there's always a food truck out front if you haven't eaten. Hard seltzer on tap and N/A beer options. The people who work here are great. For the purest experience, access it via the LA River bike path.
Love the place! No other brewery has perfected the slushy like Frog Town. Pain Killer and War on Sobriety IPAs are my go to pours. However any flavor is an excellent choice. Very friendly staff. And different food trucks every weekend.
It’s my first time here. I LOVE these hidden gems. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and great selection of beer (s). Pictured here is a “flight” of beers… Just like the Terminator says: “I’ll be back…! ”
Great Local Brewery. I've been coming here for years, and they consistently have good beer.
I'm glad I took the drive to LA the City that never sleeps. Frogtown Brewery is a good experience, you'll like all their brews, the staff were Friendly & Serviceable. This Saturday they had a Food truck in front of their door so if you get hungry and want a delicious delicacy & re-invention of chicken tenders you will be pleased with "Chicken King" crispy juicy chicken (a little spicy, would not recommend for Kids) & the Potato Wedges were so good. The music they played was danceable and fun. I recommend we all vote and tell the owner to make a lil' dance floor lol! We enjoyed the place it was so cool for a warm day. Parking was limited but available at no charge.
Limited selection of beers that are in the lager/pils range.
Great spot for a group and the adjacent food trucks are a good compliment.
We use to love this place and go often with my son and husband.today we took one of our friends for a firsttime and our son and their son where playing on the ground right next to us and this worker came and made very mean comment to keep you kids off of the ground, this is tavern.this is while bunch of other kids our playing outside area and tons of big dogs are inside. I went to him and said that was not the right way of talking to us. I know its tavern and if you need the kids to play outside or anything you can say it nicely.next thing you know he came by our table.which was a group of two couples and two kids and he said we have to leave because he is no longer going to serve us.
Cool environment! Nice big open spot.
Not sure why they allow kids here but there were kids running around - and dogs.
Seemed like a nice big selection of beer.
I got a watermelon spritz which I do not recommend.
I would go back here.
This used to be a great hidden gem but now it’s pretty lame. Staff is rude and the place has a bad vibe. Hard to find parking makes this a place to skip now. Just stay away and go to one of many other brewery options near by.
Take your business somewhere else. Do not go here. I genuinely hope this place gets no business or they have some sort of training for the people who were there the night I was there. There are no consequences for the people behind the bar. They will do what they want. We came in around 915 and they came around for last call close to 10 and at 1015 they basically said get out of here? This is a brewery. If you’re going to make a last call, you need to allow 30 mins to an hour before you FORCE people out. I have never encountered such rude behaviors from people. It was so shocking. And they said they did last call at 930 which was a lie. Nothing like spending $40 and having to chug your beer. What a joy.
