13 My Internet has been down all day - not the first time this happened. It is usually restored after a few hours, but not this time. I contacted them via online chat, but they failed to reconnect my service. They kindly and quickly set up a service ticket, but I will be without service for over 3 weeks! If I find a reliable ISP elsewhere before my service date, I'm leaving Frontier.
UPDATE: I made an appointment with a different company with the thought that I would end my relationship with Frontier. However, the service returned and, though I have had a few service outages, it has been performing acceptably well for me since.
This building is used for equipment storage. No one works there anymore. Total waste of time and gas.
When I canceled my service I was entitled to a refund and was sent a debit/credit card which I activated but it doesn’t work. I tried more than four times at two businesses and declined even though I verified the refund balance is on the card so basically it’s worthless. Not only is their service bad but when you leave the refund is a scam.
After missed appointments with no call, outage during supposed install, etc, still waiting for Internet after 2 months. The installer may come in 2 weeks or just not show up again.
Beware! Not well organized at all and poor business practices. Was difficult to get the service connected properly initially. Later, we had autopayment and for some reason they only partially charged us at some point and then received an email that we were delinquent in payment. Now we need to cancel (moving) and they charge you for a whole month whether or not you are using service. Finally, you will be charged $50 restocking fee for their equipment. This price has gone from $9.99 to $50 in the span of the last couple of years. You cannot return the equipment yourself. You will spend a long time on hold to resolve issues. Not worth the trouble.
Absolutely the worst communications company I have ever dealt with in my life. After ordering installation, they had canceled 50 appointments throughout 1 year before finally being installed. I would never recommend Frontier communications to even my worst enemy.
I would LOVE to know when Frontier plans on upgrading to fiber optics in the Reedley area. We are in the stone age, here, running off of slower than slow, McDonald's wifi, here. And we have the fastest internet speed, available to us. 7kbps. It's awful. Especially if you want to stream on multiple devices.
I have been without internet since December 23,2022. I have called numerous times made appointments and they never come out. I don't understand the concept of appointments if they never show up. I pay my bill every month even though it's not working. I am once again waiting for a technician this will be day 2 of waiting. I am always polite on the phone cause we'll I'm not a mean person but this company is pushing my buttons. I just want my internet fixed. 4 months now come on
Poorly organized was to do 3 loads Crome here shuttle run. Completed one run the guy loading us Walter told that he will be there until we complete the loads. I showed up after completing first load but nobody was there. Had to go back to Fresno wasted a day and diesel
Day 3 of internet outage. In rural area with no other options. Run a remote client counseling service utilizing video calls. Finally reached a courteous customer service person. Took twenty minutes to track down the info that repairs are currently being worked on after a traffic accident in our area 3 days ago. But no estimate on service being restored. The accident was 1 mile from our house so I drove over there. No work has been done. Wires still dangling off poles and torn out of the ground. Frontier Communications had costumer service LIE TO ME about work being done. I have been patient until now.
Our internet is down and Frontier says its 3 weeks until they can fix my internet.
My wife is in her last year of online school.
I have 4 kids who have to do their homework on chromebooks.
I work for an IT company.
3 weeks? This is the customer service we can expect?
And yes, we've called the customer service line many times.
Worst customer service ever, they don’t even deserve 1 star. We are located in the mountains and the service has been out for over 45 days, they have cancelled twice for repair and they did that at the last minute.
Let me start off saying I rely 100% on frontier for phone and internet service. I have zero cell service at my house. I home school my daughter and she relays on internet service 5 days a week. My service went out again! Big shocker and customer service told me I had to wait 7 days to have someone come out to fix it. So my daughter has to miss 5 days of school and I can't make emergency calls or calls to the school to notify them unless I drive 5 Miles down the rd. This company has truly shown it's colors.my business is of no priority to them. I wish I could give them negative 5 stars. Worst customer service. Heck PGE does a better job. I will say one good thing and that's their techs are great. Otherwise worst customer service. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
