Frontier Toyota forces you to purchase $4,500 of cosmetic “protection” for your car, you can’t remove any of it.

$500 is door edge guards (cheap plastic, looks horrible).

$4,000 is Cilajet Plus paint protection, an $85 ceramic coat you can buy on Amazon and a promise to fix door dings.

They won’t switch it out for an extended warranty or anything that would actually be worth something. Don’t waste your time on this dealership

I had tires replaced. I like the tires and Logan was very helpful. I have learned to check the tire pressures after getting my car back from Toyota. The pressure should be 30 front and 33 rear. They were set to 35 front 33 rear. 5 psi over on fronts. I use a very precise tire pressure gauge. Even if their gauge was off the fronts should have be lower then the rears. Tire pressure has a big effect on tire ware and performance and if not set correctly can be a safety issue.

Made a service appointment for 9: 00AM, my service advisor “Valerie” said it would only be an hour, it was better than that, I was driving away at 9: 45. Great job by everyone!

I was looking for a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro, which are hard to come by these days. The salesman listened and remembered the details of the vehicle I desired. The one I wanted became available and called to give me first shot. He was very helpful throughout the process and help setup the vehicle.great experience! Great listening skills!

Frontier Toyota, Management and Sales Agents were honest, credible and trustworthy while working together with my Credit Union Loan Agency, which made my financing experience very comforting.

The salesman was excellent. However the financing manager was frustrating. I was forced to buy some kind of extra paint coverage. My understanding was it was already on the car. Then when I was in the signing part I found out I needed to make an appointment to bring the car back. Very frustrating I didn’t want it in the first place I thought I had to kind of agree to it because it was already on the car. Now I have to spend a Saturday driving three hours back-and-forth and four hours why my car is being done. Oh I do not believe you should force your customers to purchase some thing they do not want on their car

Great service and our Service Advisor Jack took care of our needs. Just wish they could have figured out the noise our air conditioner keeps making.

Love Frontier Toyota! My last 5 vehicles have been from here, and I’ll continue to give them my business thanks to the great customer service by the Frontier team, both in sales and service. Kristoffer in sales and Valerie in the service department have both been huge standouts in excellence for us!

Radiator fan gave up going over there grapevine. Rolling down that hill straight into Frontiers ship to be treated like royalty, despite the later hour. Fixed everything and had is back on the road the next morning. Kudos to Joe Garcia and his team.

The person who always helps me is always really nice everyone at Toyota is nice but there is something wrong with them in the corporate side they wanted me to pay over $600 for a maintenance on a valve for a 2019 Toyota Corolla that only cost me 90 or 60 to buy depending on where to go and my nephew fixed it and he told me this job should be only about $200 max because it will only take about 30 minutes or less to reinstall it and that kind of bums me out because for a company that I bought a car from I don’t least expect some sort of hook up or at least a legit pricing but if you think I’m about to spend $670 on an item that will cost me only 60 to 90 bucks Then pay to install it that should only take 30 minutes for 600 that kind of blows my mind come on Toyota do a little better….

I purchased 2 Camry’s here over the past 20 years.
I return regularly for my service maintenance.
Recently, I had to involve MgMt due to the lack of
Professionalism and Quality in my experience.with
both their Service Representatives & Mechanics.

Thankfully, involving “Rubin” the Service manager to rectify the bad experience was the difference needed
in a successful service experience.
Prior to his involvement, I would give Frontier Toyota
2 Stars. However- as long as I involve Service Management in my future services I will change it to
4 Stars.

Thank You Rubin for your professionalism, and your
“Old School” Approach on how Frontier Toyota should be representing itself.

The Company needs to hold several workshops to
educate and hold to a higher accountability it’s
Service Representative team as well as it’s mechanic
technicians in professionalism and integrity.

Maybe then, Frontier Toyota can become a 5 Star
Company.

I feel like the car dealer take advantage of the poor customer when after a price was already agree on later they call and add more stuff when the car is de-assembled and you have not choice but take the over price changes. It never fails they done this to me 3 times in a row

Toyota workers should not be marking phony scratches on the car. Jack and his work is excellent. The person who received the car was identifying non existing scratches and dents.

This time my experience was not great. The BDC called me to follow up to set up appointment where i missed week before. When i asked for the oil change i asked is it still the same as before like $58.99 he said yes. When i showed up to get my oil change done the advisor told me no its like $88 so i had no choice and i said lets get it done. Also when she reviewed my MPI told me my rear tires at 3/32 no estimate nothing and for my TPMS LIGHT said its one of your sensors is bad. I asked do you know which one said we have to do diagnostic not much of help. I walked to cashier paid for my oil change and went straight to another big tire chain store got 2 rearGoodyear tires installed. When i asked the other shop can you tell me which Tpms sensor is faulty right away said its your left front notcommunicating and right rear sensor battery is weak. I will not be back at this dealership again.

Seemingly accurate diagnosis of our problem sensor. A little expensive at $1600 with injector cleaning. Also no free coffee as Simi & Oxnard offers. (Some even offer cookies and specialty coffee machine.

I made appointment Thursday March 26 for 35,000 mile service for my 2017 Highlander on the website for Friday March 27 at 1 pm. Received both email and text confirmation #677813476. Arrived a few minutes early. Attendant said I wasn't in the system. I showed him my confirmation. He sent me to receptionist. Showed receptionist confirmation. She said it happens when you make appointment on same day. I told her I hadn't and showed confirmation again. She said no worries and sent me to Lily. I was checked in and tried to be upsold on additional service. I refused. Lily said she would call by 3 pm. I went to waiting room and waited. 3 pm came and went with no call. Finally at 3: 52, I was called. Not to tell me car was ready, but to try to sell a front brake job. I refused and said I had been there long enough. Asked when car would be ready.
Lily said it was ready and would be brought up sortly. 4: 09, wife calls wondering where I am. Obviously still waiting. Wife texts and said she just had a not too nice conversation with Lily and car was ready. I went up to her office and she came out. She said she had just spoken to my wife. She said the reason it took so long was because I didn't have an appointment. Ishowed her confirmation on phone (email). Then she said I had made it the same day. I showed her confirmation again on Thursday. Then she said the27th was a Saturday! I told her to check her calendar. Then she made excuses of being short-handed due to Covid. I shouldn't have to argue with my service advisor, especially when I have confirmations. I also shouldn't have to ask when my car will be ready when promised time passes. The advisor should be telling me. This is poor customer service. If I didn't have a pre-paid service agreement with Frontier, I would find another place to service my cars after this episode.
