Fukuoka Hakata Ramen, Chino Hills CA

The food was ok, but it was kind of more salty than I expected. I know the shoyu is based on soy, but still salty, and the tonkatsu was also salty. I could taste more salt than miso base. Everyone has different tastes. Overall, it was good, though.

I know you're looking through the window wondering if this restaurant is any good after waiting for 2 hours already for your number to get called from the other restaurant.

Just come in and you won't regret it.

Great service and tasty food.

This place is the real deal. It’s pretty easy to tell if a place has good ramen or not, just by waiting to see if you feel thirsty after finishing a bowl full. If you do, chances are, that place added lots of MSG and additives to make the soup base tasty. Guess what, I can drink up the soup at this place and not feeling thirsty at all! Highly recommend, and it is sad to see such a nice shop to not be more popular.

Recommend: Black Devil Ramen, mild spicy, fused with black garlic oil.

First time dining at this place. My husband ordered the Spicy Beef Ramen and I ordered the Vegetarian Ramen. Both were super yummy and the portions are perfect! The customer service was also very good. We are coming back to Fukuoka Hakata for sure! We give them 5 stars and would give them 10 if we could.

After waiting for too long for the Boiling Point next door we decided to come in here to try it out. Deliciousness overall! Friendly service and staff. The water is clean and doesn't taste like chlorine. So big plus on that!

Everything is reasonably priced, the staff are so kind and professional, and the food is amazing!
I had their black devil tonkatsu ramen and it was perfect. I also saw their chicken karage and it came out so crispy and juicy!

Prompt service, very good noodles and broth. Honestly worth a try. Has a table for large groups but is best for groups of 2 and 4 or solos.

No ramen should ever have the really thin noodles. Thinner than cup a noodles. The portion was about a cup a noodles size. Good meat and broth was ok. I was honestly let down for the price.

Horrible service they 4 times they mixed up our table with other customers orders. Not only my daughter's Ramen came out when my wife and I and other daughter were done eating. The two female waitresses are completely rude and not organized

Nice area for ramen if you're in the mood. Unfortunately, I got the black Tonketsu ramen and it was just average compared to other ramen places I been too. Service was extremely good though.

Very salty, taste and chashu is not right. Expensive for what we can get, I paid more for ramen and this not worth the money

Each menu is delicious with reasonable price. Ramen has a variety flavor (Tonkotsu, miso, shio, seafood, chicken and vegetable broth), and they also have authentic Japanese side menu karaage, tempra, gyoza, curry and takoyaki). I tried several menus and everything is satisfied. Highly recommend!

I was getting my car fixed and was really hungry so I was looking for something to eat I was walking and I smelled this delicious curry smell immediately intrigued me. The decor is adorable, staff is super friendly! I got the shrimp temp don, shrimp was perfection and my fiancé who’s really picky about his curry sauce said it was really yummy sauce they did a great job. Will be coming back here again soon!

Best ramen period! Spicy black devil is our go to everytime! Can't go wrong with the curry! Thank you for the great service also!

I ordered the black devil tonkotsu.
Noodles were a little too thin and hard. Chashu were soft but too fat. Broth was just OK, but the very spicy was really spicy in the US standard. Even though I was okay with the spicy level, I think the spicy (lv1) would be a better choice for most people to taste other flavors other than spicyness.
Shrimp tempura was good, I gave it a 4/5.
