Gaby's Restaurant, Marina Del Rey CA

My New Year's resolution this year is to try new restaurants in my area. Gaby's was a big disappointment. Meat was tasteless and bland. Fries are just thrown into a paper bag. Pita was out of a package. This would be tolerable for cheap fast food, but the prices are on par with much better options. I won't be going back.

The place is clean. Great customer service. The food is delicious. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is because their family meal deal is not a deal. Usually a family meal deal is good for up to four people. The family meal is more for like two people. If you get it for four people is more like an appetizer. I was disappointing at their portions. The large sides are more like medium. If you have a man and hungry boys at home I recommend to get the individual plates instead. If your kids hardly eat then get the family deal.

I hadn't been to Gaby's in years, but it was still as good as I remember. And that garlic sauce! So good!

Bad bad bad bad. Food is bad. Place is filthy! Over priced. Place burnt down! Need major upgrade and some concern from the owners

Food is pretty good but the drive-thru is the slowest one I've ever been to. Was stuck in it for over 15 minutes

I don't order too much of a variety but, if you want some fantastic tasting chicken, you can't go wrong with the Shawarma or Kabob. Also, always ask for extra garlic sauce. That stuff is amazing.

Service was terrible. They ran out of lamb and fish. They forgot a pita wrap in our order. So we had to go back. Then they gave us the wrap which was cold and the wrong one also.

Ordered a shawarma pita wrap with fries and salad. Took 1 bite and The shawarma on the wrap was super chewy and not eatable. I get it sometimes it happens. But when I went to exchange it the guy running the register was super nice but the cook started this nasty attitude with me and telling me why I ate half the sandwich if it wasn’t good! I literally took 1 bite off the sandwich and I showed it to him. Does he really think I’m gonna go back to steal extra food or something? He kept running his mouth at me with his non sense and arguing. Finally he made a new one threw it at the counter and put half the meat in it on purpose. Terrible experience.

The location does not get you to the place you need to pass maybe 2 street after the location to find it, not my tast.

This is $20 worth of food. Absolutely ridiculous. 4 shrimp and 5 pieces of what looks like rat meat.

Do not go inside to eat or order. Dark, drap and poor customer service. Also, they ran out of grape leaves and had no napkins. When we insisted, they grabbed us towels from the bathroom. Two stars because my humus was good.

I am a long time fan of Gaby's, but there drive through beef shawarma wrap was dry and did not feel fresh. I was disappointed.
