Galaxy had repaired our oven door exactly a year ago, and the oven door has already come completely off again, like prior to their initial repair job. To my surprise they don’t honor their job beyond a few months and wanted to charge me for another full repair. Given this was at a tenant’s house and given Galaxy’s phone representatives are all nice and polite, I was ok to pay to get it repaired by them again.
They scheduled the repair about a week after my initial call. However, during the last few minutes of their several hour window, Galaxy notified us that the technician might be running late. Our tenants had to change their plans to accommodate the original window, so I felt bad telling our tenants that Galaxy was late.
A while after the window, the technician didn’t show up. I called Galaxy who tried calling the technician without any luck. I told them they had to send someone over since the tenants plans were ruined and the oven hasn’t been working for over a week. They schedule for later that evening. I went over to the tenants house to meet the technician too. But they never showed up. And no one called that day or any of the following days to see what happened.
We ended up calling another local company, who was very efficient and charged half as much as Galaxy and repaired it just a few days after our initial call. They also pointed out that the prior repair job by Galaxy wasn’t done properly, hence why it needed the same parts replaced again.
I will not be working with Galaxy again and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere.

We used Galaxy Services to install our Tesla EV charger. We got in-person estimates from a few highly rated local electric companies on Yelp, and Slavik from Galaxy impressed us the most. He was the most thorough in his review of our home's electric and took the time to explain all our options. Their quote was also the most competitive and included optional permits with the city. Slavik came with one other electrician today and finished the job in about 7 hours. We'll use Galaxy again for our electric servicing needs and be requesting Slavik!
