GameStop, Oceanside CA

I preordered Modern warfare 2 I get to to the store to pick up the game and I noticed that they were giving out modern warfare 2 hats. I asked if I can get one and they said no. It was just a hat no big deal but I noticed that they were only giving them out to white people and not black or Mexican people which was a bit weird

They don't offer you the help correctly. They get frustrated with new costumers that don't really know much about videos games.

Worst customer service I’ve had at a GameStop location. Tried trading in my old Xbox one s in order to earn some money before buying the new Xbox, at their location as well. Before I went in, I called to ask how much my Xbox was worth and they said $154 (it also stated $154 online but I wanted to make sure with their location that it was the right amount). I went in in the evening and they refused my service because I went in at 7: 50something and they closed their store at 9. Their excuse was that they “don’t do trade ins after 8pm (an hour before closing). ” Went in the next day to try and do it and they were only offering me $88 for the Xbox, while online it still said $154. Talked to the employee, and he couldn’t even give me a customer service phone number to call for help. His response was “I can’t do anything about it, ” while the manager was in the back not even coming out to try and resolve this issue.
I ended up going to the Mission Marketplace GameStop location in Oceanside and they easily added the difference on to the screen in order to make up for the $154 worth, instead of $88.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Called to ask if i place online order, can they hold and let my mother pick up in store, they said yes, went to place the order and saw shipping only as delivery option, called agian and they confirmed that they could pull and hold the order for in store pickup, when my mother arrived, they changed story and said they cant release the order. On top of all that, i got billed for 2 items, but only ordered 1. How do we fix this? Team members need more training, and to not lie to their paying customers, they themselves, need to understand that they cannot make things up on the fly. Lucky for them, Google forces me to put 1 star on this review, me knowing full well, they deserve 0 stars.

Oh my god, the level of professionalism, helpfulness, and AWESOMENESS I received today by a cool dude named Collin. Mr. Collin and I had a long conversation about various Nintendo games (He remembered me when I bought the switch a couple days ago). To sum it up this place is awesome and Collin was SUPER DOPE AND HELPFUL!

It's a small store but the friendly, attentive, and very patient service from Jennifer, Ben (or Brian?) earned my 5 stars. Excellent help to choose games with good recommendations based on prior games played. Found a few good deals like AC Valhalla and a couple new games picked by my daughter for just $15- $20.

I asked to purchase a new copy of a game, the employee behind the desk informed me they only had used copies. I figured it was just bad luck so I went ahead and bought the used copy. Drove back home; the disk doesn't work. Drive all the way back, ask the same employee again if they have new copies and she reluctantly pulls one out from under the desk. It seems unlikely that they got a new shipment in the 30 minutes I was gone. On another occasion I was told a product was out of stock but they would place it on hold for me when it arrived later in the week. They never placed any sort of hold. These are just two examples; my experience with the retail associates at this location has been consistently negative. If you need to go to a GameStop, it may save you time in the long run to go to a different location/vendor.

My wife went in and got a Pokemon game for my daughter as a digital code. To make a long story short she didn't get the right Pokemon game as there are a lot out. So when I tried to exchange it for the desired game I went to two different stores called their support line three different times and still nothing has been done in these hard times I can't afford to buy this bullet of $60 for a game my daughter already has why can't they just make this right

Good place.they have a great selection of games and i found exaktlly what i was looking for.plus i found a baby yoda wallet at last!

Not much was in stock at this location but the staff were friendly and there was an ok selection.

Customer service was very little to none. Cashier just pointed and leaned on the register while ringing us up. No lie! Please review store video. Sad that some locations with great service closed while others stay open

I liked it.they're really nice there and they wore their masks.they made sure everyone had their masks on too.they helped me find everything I needed.

Gamestop is a great gaming, and gaming accessories store that could accommodate all of your video gaming needs and desires. With brand new as well as used equipment- Gamestop I'd say it's the gamers headquarters for the modern Nerd.

Horrible customer service. Lady had the worst attitude. Won’t be going here again. As well as everyone else shouldn’t be going here again.
