Ganesha Park Pool reviews
24 Locked bathrooms. Handicap kids need to get washed up sometimes and yet they don't even provide a porter potty.
Not Nice.
I've loved this park for as long as I can remember. Now that I'm a mother, this is my 4girls favorite place @ home here n Pomona!
I like the park, walked there from my house with my eight year old. We didn't really feel comfortable because of the transients (homeless).
Great pool! I took my stepson here during his summer break. The staff here are nice and helpful. Cost is $2.50 a person which is reasonable. I just wished they kept the pool open longer during the day.
Pool is a nice place $2.50 to get in can bring food.but park is full of trash and homless people
Great park. You should watch out for homeless people though. Also if your kids are uncoordinated watch out for some of the taller parts of the playground. They also have a pool you can throw your kids into for a couple dollars. Plenty of shade. But still watch out for shady people especially in the bathrooms.
I was asked if I had proper swimwear by 3 girls at the entrance.
I told the girls, i have swim shorts and a swimtop. Not exactly a bathing suit, but made out of the same material. So I was finally allowed in, during my time there i observed people going in without proper swimwear, some people even wearing socks. It's Pomona, disgusting bathroom and showers, and ghetto music was bumping in the pool speakers and to top it off admission was $2.50. First and last time there.
The part of the park with the basketball court and jungle gym for kids is great! But the other side of the park is full of homeless people and people smoking drugs. The bathrooms are disgusting and need soap and toilet paper. I would like to visit the pool there but somewhat hesitant.
Me and my kids had a good time at the pool and also it was pretty clean the lockers and bathrooms also. The lifeguards are really nice and helpful. The only thing is the price is a little high $2.50. I have been to most of the community pools and they are all no more than 2 dollars for adults and 50 cents for kids. Just wanted to also say the playground here for the kids is great its better than most of the parks around sgv.
Pool is alright though gets overcrowded in the kids section. The pool and the shower rooms definately needs upgrade. The charge is expensive considering other city pools in better shape.
Beautiful park but a lot of homeless! Made it hard to enjoy our time there because they’re everywhere! I know they don’t have anywhere else to go but some police presence would really make it feel safer.
The pool it's self is standard; attentive life guards, plenty of spots to sit and take a break. It's fun for children but the park itself is already plentiful, and free of charge.
Would come here as a child the price was reasonable, it was always full of young children, we always had a ton of fun, the slide was the best plus the staff was always nice.
Lots of trails to explore if you are in a safe group. Great equipment but usually lots of trash
We went to the kids Park area and it was quite nice and well maintained. But many of the picnic tables were being used by the local homeless community.
I used to like the Ganesha public pool. Until the homeless people start invading the area. I personally still like this public pool but Pomona has this overall issue with homeless people. Where they camp and you gets an Awkward tension. So please lock your cars because if you leave your doors unlocked the homeless people will open your car and take your belongings not this happen to me personally but I heard stories.
Beautiful park, lots of summer events unfortunately allot of homeless. Not that they are the problem because they are homeless it because they treat certain parts of the park like it's their home.and theu are not good housekeepers
I Like This Pool Is Wide From The Side And Deep Is 13 Feet And I Like It Because It Has A Slide Water 13 Feet The Pool Nice Pool And Clean I Love It.
Good place for get together only thing theres lots of homeless people lurking around asking you for food and drinks.
