Quality service and kind professionals are hard things to find for mechanics, and probably impossible to find if you need better than what they have Gateway Auto. Ike saw me struggling to even find parking at the next door mechanic, when he offered to give me a parking spot in his lot, and after hearing why I was even waiting, decided he would price match the already generous prices. The downright magic of the mechanics got my oil change done in record time, and despite it being a fully synthetic oil, this was the cheapest oil change I have ever paid for, at any point in my life, even on the East Coast with much lower prices. I'd rather walk than take my car anywhere other than Gateway Auto now.

If there is a cheaper mechanic shop, with better staff, I'd never believe it. Thank you Ike, Ricardo, and the rest of the amazing staff at GatewayAuto! Easily the best in the industry, country wide.

Excellent, very thorough service. He did a lot do work completely changing out my worn out rear brakes and old tire bearings, and did a good job.

Excellent and timely service. Had a catalytic converter stolen from my Prius for the second time in one year. Saw good reviews for the shop and it was nearby on Maps, so I went to Gateway for service. Once we connected with the insurance adjuster, Ike was able to replace the converter quickly, as well as install a protective plate for a good price for future peace of mind.

He was late, he delivered our car late and charged us extra. Wish I could give him zero stars.

Ike was super helpful and responsive. I was in from out of town and needed my truck to be repaired same day. I called him at 1: 00 to ask if he could help. My AAA driver said it looked like I needed a alternator. Ike checked if one was available then told me to bring my truck he could have one delivered and my truck back on the road. He checked all possible issues and it was the alternator he had his mechanic get right on it and as promised back on the road. I highly recommend Ike and gateway auto. It’s not the fanciest shop in town but very efficient. Thank you to the Gateway Auto team!

I want to be disgruntled and give this place 1 star, but because he fixed my rear brake pads, rotor and brake fluid exchange in timely fashion, I cannot in good conscience. He completely ripped me off and overcharged me for services that I found out should have cost way less. I saw a review earlier that stated that it is suspicious that people are posting pictures only the mechanic would see - there's a reason. He offers you a discount if you post these pictures and give him a 5 star review on multiple platforms. I would be very weary of going here. He'll get the job done, but you'll be left heated at the fact that you were charged so much for no reason and forced to leave a glowing review.

Ike is a scam, seriously don’t ever try his autoshop.
Expensive, bad service and late!

My car was making an awful noise and misfiring. I took my car in on my day off because my usual mechanic wasn’t available until Thursday. Ike was super kind and got everything fixed up and repaired in less than a day. Couldn’t recommend them more.

I am so grateful that I came across this mechanic. I was on my way to pick up my son from daycare when my car started making a terrible sound. I was scared and flustered and looked for places I could take my car. Thankfully Gateway was only a mile away. When I called Ike he was very respectful and understanding of my situation and told me I could bring my car over. He was patient with me throughout the whole process because I was feeling very overwhelmed about the whole situation. He called me again this morning to give me an update. He had been so communicative throughout the entire process and sent me pictures along the way to demonstrate the concern. I am very grateful for his transparency. At most mechanic places you don’t get this much info so it is very reassuring as a customer to know and see exactly what is wrong. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Ike and ricardo helped me out when my splash pad came loose. They are very good at communicating and very helpful. I will definitely come back!
