Gaucho Grill reviews
13 Very good place to go to eat typical Argentinian food. Lots of variety and hearty dishes. Always save room for dessert!
We ate asado and it was amazing and we have to save to take home!
Flan con dulce de leche!
Panqueque con dulce!
Kiana, I think the server, waitress and the other people very polite.
We ate while a man played the guitar songs from Argentina as well as Latin varieties. Very good singer!
Really good Argentinian place!
Muy buena comida tipo Argentina.
Ideal para los que extrañamos la comida del país!
We walked in for dinner (party of six) on a Monday night and while short staffed, they made every effort to accommodate us. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time for that reason. The manager made every effort to assist our family and handled it like a true champ. To be completely honest, you would have never assumed that they were short staffed, we had all of our requests met and rather quickly, the food quality was excellent and they even whipped up some cocktails for us in no time. The lomito sandwich was by far the favorite, so much so that we orders four for the table.
Flavorful large burger and Gaucho! You could prob even get the kids version, save $10 & be content. Theirs is also a good portion.
Food was good, steak could have used more salt. Although it's a large restaurant it's not easy to find street signage is non-existent. Service is slow our waiter hardly returned to our table even though they weren't busy, manager was more attentive.
Good deco, less food.
This restaurant is located off West Covina Parkway. Parking is usually easy and plenty. It has a very unique and warm, welcoming atmosphere and I felt rather comfortable inside and outside dining areas. There is also a very unique grilling, Barbecue pit inside of the restaurant, to make you feel very curious and expecting the good meat to come.
However, the beef or steak, was very juicy and delicious, but it really didn't have enough pieces to serve. It was under six small chunks of beaf, maybe only for people who are under weight control or under weight.
I really like the quality of the meat and the ambience of this restaurant, but if you are hungry, then you will not be very happy about the food.
The steak? Was cooked to perfection, very reasonable prices and portions, and our server Germán was attentive and on point with all the recommendations
Purchased through Uber Eats: I bought 2 orders of the smoked short rib empanadas, 2 orders of the shrimp empanadas and 1 order of the beef. Would've thought they came two per order for $6.05, but that was the cost for only one which is severely overpriced. The biggest disappointment was that the containers were not labeled and the empanadas were mixed up so we didn't know what kind we were getting until we bit into them.
Disappointed, we were seated fast, but drinks and food it took very long, waited about 45 minutes for our food, we had no plate, napkins or forks at our table, had to get up & get them from another table, other people were served before us, customer service was bad. Food was ok. Won't be coming back
All I can say is Jessica was amazing! She kept up with our jokes all night which no other waitress anywhere could handle our Family The restaurant was beautiful and we loved our food! Would recommend!
Hi everyone I'm right now at the restaurant gaucho grill in west covina the food is amazing but the service is terrible i have more than 15 min waiting for my bill.i can't believe they take so long for service I'm not agreeing.
My worst Argentinean food experience ever!
The milanesa was super tiny and the vegetables it came with had a horrible rancid taste. The murcilla came badly burnt in an overheated sizzling pan, pieces of the sausage were spraying all over the dining table. Service was slow, food overpriced, and not tasty. The ambiente had the atmosphere of a hospital cafeteria with blaring kitchen noise. To be avoided. If you like Argentinean food, other places are much better options.
Love the food, the steak is really good. My family loves coming here. Alway good service to!
