Went to see the Inheritance and enjoyed it. I really liked the actings though I think the story didn’t have enough twists and turns. Would have been more fun and more enjoyable. The theater was great. Any seats are good to see the stage. Don’t spend too much money to buy good seats.

We saw the play The Inheritance and had an absolutely lovely time.
The theater is charming, comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
The concession area is very good, and the outdoor patio area is a lovely place to mingle with other guests.
The play was incredible, with lessons that transcend generations, orientation and heritage.
A touching storytelling of the human experience.

I love this place. Great theater with a mix of standard and experimental plays. They have a very decent parking solution for those driving in as well by having a relationship with the Trader Joe's just behind the theater

Great play two- part play (The Inheritance) high-caliber acting direction design.it's continental seating so if you probably will have to cross a lot of legs to get to seat.i chose a seat on an aisle.theres a balcony too.and a bar.artwork to look at, a small lovely romantic patio festooned with tealights and a gurgling fountain. Parking in the Westhood lot for 5 bucks flat rate but it closes at 11: 30 pm.there's another lot nearby for 8 bucks that is open after hours. Great place to see theatre.

More than a neighborhood playhouse, but not a major theater, the Geffen helps to fill that important niche for LA theater goers. Running a wide variety of shows, some that include live music, two theaters in the complex (one small) provide comfortable seating with an unobstructed view. There is a small bar that serves alcohol. In this time of Covid, the Geffen goes to great lengths to screen their patrons for immunization status with masks required in the theater. We've seen some great shows with outstanding actors and some not-so-great. That's pretty much the norm for most theaters.

I don't want to post because I feel like this is my hidden gem. But I have to share what a magical theater this is. Great shows, amazing atmosphere and great bartenders! Thank you all!

I've qlways enjoyed performances at the Geffen. This was my first time back since COVID. They have a great set up, requiring vaccine checks and masks on the way in, plus the patio is great if you need a little fresh air at intermission. I had a friend in the show and the house staff was so hospitable and organized while we waited to greet her.

Came to see Who is afraid of Virginia Wolf. They were well organized with patrons. Provided individual orientation of the rules (vaccinated and always wearing masks). You can order your drinks and food in advance. Staff were helpful. Playhouse seats are all great. Great experience.

AMAZING. One of Geffen's Best. CALISA and ZACHARY were unbelievable. Supporting actors great. Standing ovation as the last words were being spoken.

Playhouse with 2 different stages inside. Came here on a Sunday at 7pm to see Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and had a fantastic experience. There’s paid lot parking ($20 at the Ralph’s) or you can try finding street parking (free after 8pm). Masks were required and enforced regardless of vaccination status. The restrooms were in the back far right, and there were two water fountains. During intermission, note that the entire restroom will blackout during the 5 minute and 2 minute warning. There’s a small outdoor patio for people to enjoy their drinks.

Inside, the seats were comfier than I was expecting. The theater was intimate and the view from Row N was still very close to the stage.
