Grocery Store Gelson's reviews
14The best veggie pizza i have had so far. I usually ask for extra pesto sauce and it starts a party in my mouth.
I love the staff here they do a great job at making every ccustomer happy and catering to anything one could ask for! Keep It up guys and gals!
Always good service including manned registers instead of self serve checkouts. Prepared food selections are good and make a nice option for grabbing lunch over getting fast food.
Higher quality fare for appropriately higher prices on average. Bakery and butcher are particularly excellent.
Healthy foods and always fresh, higher priced market but worth the trade off of health. The bakery is fresh
I compare this to finding a meadow in the middle of a city. The atmosphere is always good they always have a great selection of eats A-Z and everyone Working there is great. Even though I can’t find a few of my favorite drinks this is my favorite grocery stores to shop.
Everything is alittle more but it's worth it produce is fresh meat and seafood counter are beautiful with a wide selection of fish, cuts of meat and also you can get a fresh just cooked turkey sandwich or by the pound and prime rib, I could go on and on
Checkout staff are outstanding. Rarely do I see what I want out of stock (the deli counters run out of chicken and sushi early which is a bummer!). Floor Manager at the front is killer, I mentioned something I wanted a week later there it was in-store! Outstanding. I do wish the stocking staff/aisle cleanup/security were friendlier.a lot of fearful looks, mostly That might be me though (I'm a BIG dude).
My biggest issue with all Gelsons is the price. Everything is $1-$7 (sometimes $10+) more expensive here. As a result I don't shop here very often - you'd stand to make 2-4x more off of me personally if the general product pricing was lower, particularly on "non-premium" products. Yeah jamon de iberico & caviar should be expensive.does mineral water need to be expensive? Does the Amy's Mac & cheese or microwave section need to be expensive? Do crackers need to be expensive? I don't think so, personally.
How can you not love Gelson’s? Stuff is always on the shelves and the staff constantly making the shelves look good…I always feel a little guilty when I pull something from a shelf the staff just made look good…that being said, I like shopping here.
Great veggies and fruit. I finally found spagetti squash. Expensive but it's the quality u pay for. Poached salmon and artichoke in lemon ayoli, so delish.
Store has always been classy. Employees are usually helpful even though sometimes they could be more friendly especially in the produce section they don't seem to smile very much but they are helpful. Plenty of parking and they keep the store clean. Store usually well stocked. Top of the line meat section and Produce.
One can always count on the quality of everything they sell, and the service deli is where we always get great choices of hot and cold prepared food for evenings at The Hollywood Bowl
Overpriced and I overheard an employee making fun of one of the customers. Checkout lady was snotty as well
Expensive but everyone is friendly and helpful, if they pay their workers well the prices are worth it
