Gen Korean BBQ House, San Jose CA

This place is too busy, and management doesn't even consider first come, first served. However, they say it is first come, first served. The host is quite arrogant as well. Don't ever go to this place if you value time and service. They will make you wait for hours if you go with a friend or two. Unless you have a big group with you, it is not worth trying this place.

The place has a strong clubby vibe, which can be fun if that's what you are looking for, but the food seemed secondary. The place seemed a little short staffed. It was hard to get a waiter to bring more food, which at an all-you-can-eat is very desirable.

Their lunch price is only available Mon-Thur now, price is higher also. Not fully reopen to use every seat so you need to wait for ~20 min even when they are not busy.

Great beef, a bit slow on refilling waters but they are extremely busy, so I give them a pass, food is delicious.

DONT eat here, my girlfriend and I were been judge by an asain couple that was our age. Little did they know we knew what they were saying to each other. Food ok'ish service is BAD, we were pack in like sardines. IF u do eat here beware of the LOUD MUSIC, you cant hear yourself, our sever wasnt around, we waited for our check for 25 mins.

Overall I would say that our meal was good. But the beer selection was diminished and limited. The genre of music dod not suit me.

Awesome food and service. All you can eat Koran barbecue with really tasty meats. All of the standard fares are good, but they've also got some special varieties. Besides the beef dishes, I recommend the garlic pork belly (note: if you eat a lot of it, it'll leave your breath garlicky for the next day too).

Will never go back to this bbq house. Service was soo bad. Server took forever to come back with our orders and some of our orders were never brought to us. Poor service, will never recommend this place to anyone.

Plenty of choices on the menu. Servers come by often so you can keep the plates coming. Upbeat music helps the place feel energetic.

My family and myself have always had an AWESOME time here! Food is amazing, the people are quick about getting more meat. We drive almost 1 1/2 hours to get here!

The best AYCE Korean BBQ in San Jose! Especially when sharing a bottle of Cabernet with the family.

No doubt I love the food. But I don't want that smoke coming to my face and sticks on my shirt!

It’s not great Korean BBQ. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Meat quality is subpar. But it’s all you can eat BBQ and pork cheek is really good, worth trying out.

Always love this place it gets super crowded and busy but it’s worth the wait every time! Favorite place for my bbq cravings. Also shout to Brian and Bryant! Super awesome service from them!

Has to be the best Korean BBQ I have ever visited. We were fortunate to be seated next to locals who we used as " We will order what they have" approach. The food kept coming and the team of servers continued to refresh plates and burner.
