I like this restaurant very much. It has a very nice air. The meals are exeptionaly good.the service is efficient and the personel is very professional. The price is reasonable. I warmly recommend.

Had a good experience here with my wife. The food comes out rapidly and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are fair.

Why even use Yelp waitlist when you still need to wait another 2 hours upon checking in. It does not make any sense. Gen Korean Bbq does not do reservations according to the host. Worst thing, the West Covina location's phone number is out of service. We could not ieven inquire about this prior to making a Yelp waitlist. This sucks.

I love this spot! They have marvelous food, they have a rich menu, The cook in that place is a professional, I enjoy very much trying all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I go often to this restaurant and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.

The food here is mediocre 3 star. The quality of service and meat quality, is definitely lacking compared to other places. For the price I pay here, I would definitely choose to dine elsewhere. The side dishes do not taste fresh. The service has plenty room for improvement (long wait times for drink refills, meat orders, and grill changes). The environment is modern, but feels dated. Music is a little too loud here as well. If Gen is supposed to mimic a club environment, then they are hitting the mark. There are plenty of KBBQ spots that come to mind that would be more enjoyable for the same price.

The only thing we liked about this place is the jjapchae. The meat are so small and thinly sliced. The rice paper is small and some of the meat are not fresh. So, if you cook some of the meat, it cooks dry. They need to fix their menu.

I go to this unique place once a month since I like the special atmosphere that is characterizes this restaurant. The staff is highly cordial and professional. The service is absolutely rapid. Not to mention, the food they serve is perfect. I came many times and I was always joyful. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

We were introduced to Gen Korean, by a relative for lunch. And having just arrived back from Asia, we had plenty of authentic Korean bbq. Gen Korean was unbelievably delicious, with quality meats and fresh side dishes. Grills that work to your desired needs, and tops that are changed regularly to keep your grilling to perfection! A must do again soon attraction.

The waiters were great and very attentive, food was good since I did most of the cooking. Service is one of the best.

Extremely great service and very fast. You get all your food quickly, the grill changed often, empty plates taken away without asking, and very friendly. Whole place is clean and food is amazing. Not too expensive, definitely reccomend this KBBQ place!

It was our first time on valentine's day it was a long, long wait but it was good. I told them it was our first time here, they where nice to tell me which where the favorites. We had a good time, the food was prepared and we our salt, pepper, condiments a side to add. Oh and you cook your own food.

Took about 40 min to get in, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! The spicy fried chicken is to die for, 10/10 would even wait and hour to still get in and eat

This restaurant is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant.when I feel like having a special meal, this restaurant comes right away to my head.extremely good and diverse food and a large menu.helpful staff members, and great atmosphere. And very important, the bill is fair. I praise this place with pleasure.

The food was delicious, and Alfonso was the best server. He was very attentive. I hope someone gives him a raise. He anticipated several needs like changing out the grill, getting more water and asked us if we needed anything else.

This place is really good my friend took me here for dinner really enjoyed myself. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious.

The meat was good for the price. Service was great. Joshua did a good job serving my parents and I. Will definitely come back for my next birthday. This was a good meal for my birthday today.
