General Patton Memorial Museum reviews
14Very interesting! There is a statue of General Patton where you park. It's very lifelike. Inside the museum there are mannequins wearing uniforms of that time period. Inside the museum, it's like you're there. You have to see it.
This is a hidden gem I never knew existed out in the desert definitely a place you could spend at least an hour to two hours just walking around reading everything or going outside and enjoying the military vehicles.definitely a place I'd like to visit again what I got in total of five stars if they had advertisement off the freeway that showed her that it was there it was by chance we got off to get food and found this hidden gem
We have driven past many times, this time we stopped. The place is great, the history of the greatest general and his legacy was fun to see. The local area had a lot to do with WW2. Lots to see, staff was great.
I loved it! It was great muesum alot information. I stayed for 2 hours and still could of stayed longer. Good for people to learn about him and WW2!
Very nice place, super nice staff. My family visited the museum last spring break. My 8-year old son lost his penny token from the museum when way back home. He was so sad. There's no way I can go back. I called the museum and they shipped the exact same one to my house, NY. I could show my son a magic.
That was a miracle!
Really really appreciated!
My grandson is obsessed with tanks and he was taking pictures of everything even in museum
U. S. Army General George S. Patton is one of the greatest Generals in American history and the museum really outdid itself. It was amazing and I loved every moment of it and it was definitely worth going into and seeing all the interesting artifacts!
Great collection of Patton memorabilia as well as WW II guns and ammo but most impressive is the collection of tanks and vehicles
Nice little stop. Benches and shade for lunchtime. Nice Memorials, a lot of tanks to see, very Patton-like.
I recommend visiting it first thing in the morning as the war tanks are outside and in the summer it is hotter than 100F. At the back of the museum there is also a tank cemetery and a camping area where you can spend the night with your motorhome. They have a very interesting collection of weapons from world wars and from different countries.
This place will humble you very quickly. I highly recommend you give yourself plenty of time to be able to enjoy your experience. What Patton did to these young men was pure hell. He did it so they would win and come home.
Interesting museum about the life of General Patton, so not only about WW2 but also about WW1. Also many tanks to see.
Great if you're into anything ww2 related.
They also have some ww1, Korean And Vietnam stuff. They have quite a few tanks and other related vehicles. Very informative
The entrance fee as of April 2nd 2023 is 15 dollars. Veterans are free
They have a large collection of military vehicles. They have displays of the life of General Patton.
