The food is not bad, the prices are alright. But I did find a piece of foil- from the scrubbers i believe it's from.inside my chicken teriyaki bowl of rice & broccoli. (it was stuck on my broccoli) that wasn't a good thing to see. Glad I checked it before taking a Blinding bite.
They just need to be a bit more careful next time. Dangerous!

Poor quality, tasteless rolls, one of the rolls was served to us with a large green&black fly sitting on it. We were told the roll wasnt remade but who knows. Wouldn't dine here again.

There's a little of everything. Chinese, Thai, sushi. Most dishes have a lot of flavor but some need a little extra. Overall, great in Castro valley. Huge restaurant.

FABULOUS dinner! Had the "Girlyman" & "Snow White" rolls as well as a beef teriyaki/tempura bento dinner & sashimi salad all shared with our group, plus gyoyza & edemame. Staff was attentive & very friendly. It was just super LOUD & hard to hear ourselves at our own table. But the food was AWESOME.

There are restaurants with less wait times and faster service but my sister and I really enjoyed there asian fusion menu. Its a great place to go if you want asain food but not sure what you want. It is a mixture of your favorite Japanese and chinese dishes. Convenient, Nice location.

Great sushi, one of the best quality sushi. I visited many sushi places and this is one of my favorite. Please keep up the quality!

I would give it a 5 except it is very noisy with lots of hard surfaces, and our teriyaki fish was a tad overcooked last time. We like the garlic green beans and the lemongrass shrimp soup is exquisite (Thom something).

Every time I dine here is amazing. The staff is SUPER attentive and kind and the food is amazing. This is our go to date night spot:)

I won’t ever recommend this place to nobody I got a tiger roll and it was horrible! I threw my plate away I wouldn’t even let a dog it!

Great place to eat if you like to eat "Asian Cuisines. " Genghix serves generous portions of Chinese, Japanese (Bento, Sushi, and sashimi), Korean and Thai food. Menu is extensive; lots to choose from. There is also an extensive wine, beer, and cocktail menu too!

Service is efficient. As of June 10,2021, tables are social distanced (indoor dining only, no outdoor dining). Customers were wearing mask when not eating. Staff was wearing mask.

There is a extensive weekday Chinese lunch plates and Japanese bento menu, which is reasonably priced for what you are served. A fresh green salad and a bowl of miso soup is served with the entree.

Kid friendly: There are high chairs if needed. However, no diaper changing table in the women's restroom.

Best lion king! I’ve been eating here since childhood and over the years, come back again and again for their lion king. Really solid place if you live nearby.

One of our favorite places to go for sushi. Wide selection of sushi rolls, plus sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls. Full bar, so you can get any cocktail, though they also have their specialty ones. Tempura and miso soup are also good. Chicken wings with the sweet chili sauce are tasty! They have a lot of entrees, but we haven't tried many of them (we like the sushi too much!). Service has always been fantastic when we've gone for both take out and indoor dining. Comfortable seating, but no outdoor dining at this time. Parking can sometimes be a challenge.

9 piece nigiri. Good quality Sushi, and just enough rice for the nigiri. Placed a pickup via DoorDash and my meal was on the counter when I arrived, not placed in refrigeration. This was not a big deal to me, but if you are running late, I would call the restaurant and ask for them to place your items in a cool place if it needs it.
