Gentlemen's Barber Shop reviews
8Awesome spot to drop in for a bald fade and trim up. No wait, and super friendly! Would highly recommend! Thanks guys!
So.im particular and bear that in mind. I rang ahead to explain that I like simple razor designs but done well for a style-conscious adult.as opposed to the fun hair designs given to children for sports matches. I also expect people cutting my hair to understand this: that a man in his fifties isn't coming to a hairSTYLIST for a children's level cut. I brought a very clear picture with me. Plus I have the hair.it's not as if I'm a balding, middle aged guy coming in with a photo of Timothee Chalamet. I do realise that may places now are only trained to do fades, but these things need discussion. I was handed over to the youngest guy in the room. Could have gone very well if he was young/superstyle- conscious. But he lacked experience. He also lied a little: he said he was only following what I already had, yet he also admitted to cutting many additional lines. It was a shame as he was lovely. I came away with a version of a style that was a little to skanky for my liking. Ready for Christmas. I'm slightly despairing of how to get what I want if even a clear photo isn't enough. I did see lots of people around me getting nice fades.
Great Barber Shop quality haircut, full service, decent price!
Friendly, qualified staff, great haircut by Bryan
Opted for haircut and hot towel service but no hot towel to be seen. The guys seem pretty young and not all that professional or organized. My barber had a very aggressive and angry technique that involved a lot of hammering motions with the clippers. Right? ! Also left with hair all over the shirt due to sloppy barbering. Decent enough haircut, but not the most enjoyable experience.
I am 51 years old on this was by far the most pathetic haircut I have ever gotten. The kid that was doing the “cutting” spent 90 percent of the time combing my hair and spraying it with water.
Needles to say, the final result was an absolute disaster. I did find out that my “hairdresser” had learned his craft on “YouTube” out of boredom during pandemic. Avoid at all cost unless you want to look like an escape from mental institution.
I'll come again. I'm happy they allowed two of us to walk in without appointments.
Got a nice tappered fade for sides and back.
Excellent barbers who know how to cut mens hair. Busy shop so appointment is recommended. Have been a customer for 6 plus years.
One of the worst parts of living a traveling lifestyle is finding a barber in a new town. I’m usually nervous the first time sitting in a new chair, but from the start I could tell that Mike is clearly skilled at what he does and takes pride in his craft. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. He tailored his approach and techniques to what I requested and I’m very happy with the results.
